Lucifer woke up with a yell. He looked around the small cage frantically, clawing at the bars before letting out a shaky sigh and leaning back against the opposite wall. He could just barely see the outline of the table and the monitors through the thin bars of the cage. He sighed. He knew he had to leave today. One by one, his brothers were leaving. Just last week Raphael managed to off himself after the head scientist did tests with electricity. In all honesty, Lucifer was jealous. Wherever Raph was now was certainly better than this. Michael had gone insane the week before after a brain surgery went wrong. They killed him the next day. 'No use in keeping something that's broken', they had said. Lucifer had looked up to Michael. It was bad to see him go like that. Lucifer sighed and looked at the cage next to him. Thankfully, Gabriel was still asleep. Gabriel was probably one of the most powerful things here. He could make things just by thinking about it if they'd just take off that headset they made him wear. It looks like it hurt. Lucifer cringed and looked away from his sleeping brother before clapping his hands around the lock on the cage. It slowly began to ice up. After a few minutes, Lucifer let go and slammed his fist into the lock, shattering it. He gently pushed open the door and slid out of his cage, landing on the floor without making a sound. He looked up at Gabriel and sighed before running out of the door and into the courtyard.
