"Mum?" A small voice said from next to me.
"Yes Teddy?" I answered still looking for the familiar faces amongst the busy crowd.
"I'm scared..."
This time I turned to look at the small boy gripping my hand like if he let go I would disappear, "Why are you scared Hun?" I said bending down to him.
"There are going to be a lot of people there... I don't like being with big groups of people at once..."
I moved some hair out of his face with my free hand, "What else is wrong?"
He stayed silent, "Teddy, what's wrong?"
"W-Was Dad ever scared?" He stuttered.
I smiled with a sigh, "Yes, your father was scared. And that's what made him brave."
Teddy's face wrinkled in confusion, "How does being scared make you brave?"
"True courage is not measured in your strength or ability, it's about being able to face what you fear most without feeling scared anymore."
The small boy nodded slowly, "So... The next time I see a spider, if I pet it at I brave?"
I laughed quietly, "You'll be the bravest Lupin ever!"
Standing back up, I noticed an owl flying towards us at an alarmingly quick rate.
"Ted, duck!" I said pulling him to the side, "No, that an owl Mum..."
I rolled my eyes and picked up the owl. Attached was a hastily written letter that read, 'Sorry, going to be late. James won't go down for his nap. Signed, Ginny and Harry Potter x '
"Hey, let's go into the cafe. Harry and Ginny are going to be a bit late, James isn't falling asleep." I said folding the letter and putting it in my pocket as the owl flew away.
"Okay..."
We walked into the cafe and the whispering started, "Look, its that Sparrow girl!"
"Her best friend was Harry Potter's father!"
"Look at her son, poor kid growing up without his father..."
"Ignore them Ted..." I say more as comfort for me as we sit down in a secluded area near the back.
"Mum?" Teddy said sitting down.
"Yes?"
"How did you meet Dad?"
Letting out a short laugh, I sighed. "We met in our first year of Hogwarts..."
