Dear Diary,

This is NOT a diary. It's like a scrap book of thoughts and photos. I've decided that from now on I'm going to just jot things down every now and again. Maybe I will stick with it...maybe not but it's trying something new.

I moved in to my new apartment today, after weeks of decorating and going back and forth with the interior designer, I am finally happy with it. It feels like home- it is my home. I haven't spoken to mum or dad since the Christmas day meltdown and I have a feeling it will be like this for a while. I will stick some photos on the next page of the apartment, they will be nice to look back at some day.

I start my new job as assistant editor for a local publisher next Monday and I can't wait. I don't know how I got the job but I won't be complaining.
