(Thalia's P.O.V.)
"I hate you, sis. I really really hate you."
"Oh shut it, Thalia." My older sister, Courtney, was scanning the water, looking for the disgusting island we'd be stuck on for the next three months.
"Why you dragged me here to compete on this stupid show is beyond me!" I was wearing my short black skirt, my black knee-high boots, blood red crop-top, and black leather vest over it, unzipped of course. Gotta flaunt my pierced naval. My short scarlet red hair with the black streaks was billowing behind me and the small gages in my ears matched the red and black diamond in my belly-button. My black eyes went perfectly with everything.
My sister, who was the exact opposite of me, whirled around and glared at me. "I won't stand for your punk-ass attitude this summer! Mom put me in charge, so you listen to me!"
"Easy there, sis. Don't want to pop a blood vessel."
"Oh, shut up!"

"Welcome to Total. Drama. Payback!"
I sighed and groaned with the rest of the campers. Chris Mclean was doing one of his speeches again. I leaned against one of the cabins, totally bored. I was just about to doze off when I was suddenly yanked from my spot and pulled to Chris' side. I tried to pull myself away, but Chef glared at me, so I swallowed and stayed put.
"I'd like to introduce our newest camper: Courtney's younger sister, Thalia!"
"I prefer to be called Thalia, don't add in that extra bit." I growled.
"Fiesty! I like it. Keep it up, you'll need it for the rest of the season!"
"I'm going to snap your sorry little-"
"Anyways! Time to tell you your teams! On the Screaming Gophers side: Gwen, Trent, Lindsay, Leshawna, Heather, and Owen. On the Killer Bass side: Courtney, Bridgette, Geoff, DJ, Duncan, and Thalia."
Go figure. Stuck on a team with my bitchy sister, a blonde, a party animal, a scaredy-cat, and a criminal. This was going to be an awesome summer. Note my sarcasm.
"Alright campers! To your cabins. Your first challenge is in two days. Get to know your teams. Have fun!" Chris and Chef walked away.
"We all already know each other!" Heather yelled after him.
"Not all of us," Lindsay said, walking over to me. "Hi, I'm Lindsay."
"Gwen," the goth looking girl said.
"Heather," she said.
"Trent," a good-looking guy told me.
"Leshawna. Welcome to Camp Wawanakwa." I was going to like her.
"Owen!" A big blonde boy crushed me in a hug.
"Put her down, big guy. She can't breathe." I think that was Gwen.
Once I was back on my feet, I was introduced to my team. However, aside from my sister, there was one other I knew.
"Duncan." I crossed my arms, a smirk on my face.
He smirked back and looked at me with his beautiful green eyes. "Hey there, sweetheart."

(Duncan's P.O.V.)
"How the hell do you already know the new girl?" Geoff demanded of me back in our cabin. The girls were taking a shower.
"We knew each other in juvie. That tough little cookie saved my butt a couple of times in a brawl."
"I find it hard to believe that Courtney's sister went to juvie," DJ added, sitting down on the floor between Geoff and I each sitting on one of the bunks.
"Oh, you don't want to mess with her. She's sweet as can be, no doubt about that. But get on her badside, well, let's just say her and Karma are sisters."
Geoff whistled. "Remind me not to get on her badside."
"At least she's nothing like her sister!" DJ pointed out, earning a hard punch in the shoulder by yours truly.
"And what's wrong with my girl?"
"Nothing," he said quickly. "Look, they're coming back now."
He was right. After a few minutes of small talk, the girls started picking their beds. It was odd. There were only five bunks.
"Looks like I get the floor," DJ sighed, pulling his sleeping bag to a corner.
"Not so fast, DJ," Thalia said smiling. She hopped off the bunk above Bridgette and walked over to him. "Take my bunk. I'll sleep on the floor."
"Or you could always sleep with Dun-"
Thalia gave Bridgette a menacing glare that shut her up quickly. Had she just been about to say-?
"I can sleep with Duncan." Courtney was already climbing into my bunk, and while my heart soared, my soul was telling me something else. I ignored it.
Long story short, Bridgette took the bunk above Geoff, DJ took the single bed, and Thalia hopped into the bunk above me, leaving me and Courtney in mine.
She kissed me goodnight and snuggled close. My arms wrapped themselves around her, but my eyes wandered up to the wood above me, blocking out the figure of a girl I so desperately wanted to hold.
Courtney kissed me again, and all thoughts of Thalia vanished from my mind.
After a few minutes, something hit me in the back of the head. I grabbed at it to find a rubberband, a red one, the same ones Thalia wore on her wrists.
"If you're gonna do that, get your own room!" She cried from above, poking her head over the side.
"Oh you just wish this was you!" I countered.
I expected her to blush, get angry, or do something like all the other girls would do. But she took me by surprise. Her eyes filled with something I couldn't place. Hope? Longing? Pain?
Before I could decipher it, she smiled, the look in her eyes gone. She giggled and said, "Goodnight, Duncan." Her voice was filled with a sarcastic sweetness that made my skin tingle.
I cuddled Courtney in my arms, who was sound asleep.
But sleep wouldn't claim me. Instead, the Red Girl kept running through my mind.
And I relished the thought of her.
