The next day was quite sad for Jeno. Just when he started to learn more about the princess, it was time for both families to part.

He kept an eye as she payed her goodbyes to his parents and the to his brother and finally she stopped in front of him. They locked eyes for a moment but it was more than enough for Jeno to look through her. Both of them had things unsaid.

As her family got in their carriage, he watched them leave. Then it hit him, he didn't catch her name at all. How was he supposed to remember her? How was he supposed to meet her again? At that moment, he wanted to hit his head with a rock, it was simply foolish.

He could only sigh and accept the fact that it might be his last time seeing her. All that was left between them was a promise, a secret.

Jeno found himself running towards the castle's front entrance. He didn't know what he would do next but the best thing at the moment was to look at her even if it was the last time. The guards were also surprised by his sudden appearance and the prince found himself halting when he caught sight of the lady.

The princess had her face on his side, they looked at each other for a while before she threw him a gentle smile. It was a short scene, but it felt long enough for him to savour it as he watched her proceed going into the carriage. His eyes never left the carriage until it was out of sights. In love? Maybe, but certainly he had to see her again to know.

"What are you so happy about, my lady?"

Her assistant queried as she caught the princess plastered with a grin on her face the whole ride from the castle. The princess cleared her throat and instantly hid her smile. The woman laughed as she caught how flustered the young lady was. It wasn't everyday you get to see her this way.

"Oh, your highness. There's nothing to be shy about, I've kept all your secrets before." She said, laughing afterwards. The princess tried to hold back another urge to smile. As she was an only child, she only had the royal staffs to talk to. It wasn't that she wasn't close to her parents, she just never talked about her secrets with them. Her father, the king, would panic when they find out she was planning to run or if she was ever in love.

"I'm not in love, if that's what you're suggesting." She spoke, straightened up her back to seem in control. "Not even infatuated by one bit?" The woman teased and this time the young lady couldn't help but to grin again.

She clicked her tongue at her assistant, obviously caught in another act of hers. "I rather use the word charmed, if you please." She admitted. "Is it the brother or the younger one?" The woman continued to question, inching forward closer to the princess as if someone was going to hear them.

"Lula, it's just us." The princess shook her head with a laugh. "The King sets his ears everywhere, my lady." She joked. "I won't tell you just yet." The young lady winked at the woman. She sat back on her seat and once again, gazed outside. True, she would miss this place right away.

"You look more lifeless than our dead aunt."

Yoon Oh's voice was ringing in the room as he sat behind his brother. Jeno ignored him and continued practising with the dummy instead. "See? You can't even speak now." Yoon Oh continued to disturb the younger's one focus.

"Don't you have duties to do? Get off with it." Jeno argued back, obviously he wasn't in the mood to listen to his brother's tease. "I've never seen you this broken before, wait I've never seen you in love!" Yoon Oh exclaimed. "What exactly did you see in her?" He asked, approaching his brother slowly from the back.

"I can't believe you're growing up! All these times, those princesses were your least concern but look at you now, all—"

"Yoon Oh, I'm not in love."

Jeno glared at him, it wasn't easy for him to admit that. Let alone, he didn't knew what he was feeling as well. "Of course you aren't, then explain why you look like a walking dead." The elder one ruffled his head, messing up his hair. "I do have feelings for her, but it's certainly not love." Jeno admitted, it was true. He didn't know what the feeling was either.

"I doubt that." Yoon Oh grinned, which annoyed his brother even more. "Well let's see if you'll figure it out when she attends the party." He winked before leaving the sparring room. His statement made the younger one confused. A party? His birthday wasn't coming any soon and Yoon Oh's had just passed. What was this for then?

A smile crept his face upon realising whatever event was being held, he would have the chance to see her again. This time, he wanted to make it memorable for both of them and the first thing he needed to know was her name. Jeno needed to have it registered in his head, this time he cannot forget to ask and he must have the courage to.

"Coming through!"

The sudden alert was too quick but luckily he managed to dodge whatever his brother just threw at him. Jeno dropped his sword on the ground and chased after his brother. This time, they were going to brawl and Jeno would hit him hard for being so annoying for the whole week.

He teased him almost everyday since the princess left and Jeno wasn't going to tolerate anymore. Of course, their mother would try to stop them but she was used to them fighting one another anyway.
