The prince was landed with yet another wave of despair as he hadn't seen the princess for so long. It was longer than the first time, this drought lasted for almost three months with no news of her whereabouts and doings.

Jeno knew he could always write to her, but he wasn't the type to do so. He wasn't good in expressing his feelings with words and letters, to him it was better off if he said it himself.

"Hey, take a guess!" Yoon Oh exclaimed, surprising the younger one from his daydream. Jeno glanced boringly at his brother. For the whole three months, he thought he would manage to hide the fact that he finally knew her name. However, Yoon Oh was as sneaky as him and so he kept on teasing him about her. To a point, they were almost caught by their own father.

"What? Are you gonna tease me about the princess again?" He rolled his eyes halfway and turned his back against the scenery. "That's absolutely correct but this time, I have evidence." Yoon Oh grinned. At the sound of it, Jeno could tell he must've trying to fool him or he was holding the handkerchief she returned to him.

His eyes rounded as he launched forward to grab his brother only to have him slip from his hold, running down the corridors. The two princes were yet involved in another cat and mouse chase around the castle. They passed and even toppled some of the servants in the castles, but none of them could stop the two.

Jeno had to jumped over his cat as it was laying down on the floor next to the library. He heard his cat let out a meow as it rolled over to the other side. He then focused his gaze on the front after making sure his cat was alright. However, he had to stop on his tracks as he noticed Yoon Oh was already standing, frozen by whatever he saw.

Instantly, he locked the elder one in his arms by the neck as Yoon Oh tried to free himself. Again the two started to fight one another like children outside the castle as some people stare at them. It was quite normal, the princes would always fight but at the end of the day, they were still brothers.

"Jeno! Yoon Oh! Where are your manners?"

The two princes immediately stood still with their arms on their sides at the voice of the King. Jeno was the only one who had his eyes rounded as Yoon Oh was already expecting their father to come. The two brother turned around to face their father, only for the younger one to realise their father wasn't the only one there.

In fact, their mother was there too. However, above all, there were other families, some were familiar faces from the party and they were all stunned at the princes' behaviour. Yoon Oh was already chuckling but the younger one managed to step on his foot to make him quiet. The King rounded their eyes in fury at the two as others were watching.

Only then did Jeno realise, it was as if the families were assembling. That wasn't all that they had in common, another thing to add was, every family who was here brought their daughters along. It wasn't just one or two families. There were almost ten.

Jeno looked at his brother. The excited grin on his face was slowly disappearing. It was only then he understood what was about to happen in this week. The trials, the chance to become Queen. These were all the noblemen daughters, ready to battle one another for the crown next to a new king.

Despite feeling pity for his brother, Jeno decided it was time for revenge. He sneaked a hand behind their backs and slapped his brother on the back, hard. "Have fun picking." He flashed a smile, along with his eye-smile. What Jeno had expected was for Yoon Oh to bicker back but instead, his reply caught him off guard.

"Oh, I made my choice." Yoon Oh laughed and pointed in a particular direction with his chin. The younger one looked over his shoulders only to lock eyes with a pair of familiar ones.
