Lucas and Lisa had been traveling for over a week and found a bridge in the middle of nowhere.
"Lisa what do you think this is?"
"My guess is that on the other side is a house or a village."
"or was..."
The bridge looked abandoned like no one had been here for a verry long time.
"Shall we look if there still is something here?"
" I don't know there could be people here, could mean trouble."
"Yes but what if these people are long gone and we're just over thinking this?"
Lucas was troubled by this weird bridge in the middle of absolutely nowhere there wasn't even a path leading up to the bridge it seemed so out of place.
Lisa had already crossed and waved at Lucas to come, on the other side was a path leading deep into the forest.
"It feels like we have been walking on this path for an hour"
"Shut up Lucas, I can feel that this path will lead us somewhere."
"somewhere?"
"Just shut up and follow the path."
Lisa seemed on edge, did she know something he didn't? He wanted to ask but before he could he saw the end of the road.
"Leading into the mountain?" Lucas asked sarcastically.
"Yes let's follow the path into the mountain."
Lisa was able too keep a strait face and walked up to where the path ended the vines covered most of the wall but Lisa made her way through the vines, Lucas was waiting to hear her bumping into the wall but instead, he didn't hear her anymore and started to worry and finally he heard her voice.
"Lucas are you coming?"
"Yea I'm right behind you."
Lucas was confused a path leading up too a cave covered in vines, and Lisa... she didn't seem to be one bit confused about all this.
"Why are you so calm? I mean we just found a path in the middle of nowhere that leads into a mountain?!? How are you so calm?"
Lisa stoped and looked back at him.
"Because I know it leads to somewhere important, it feels like i have been here before."
"so you think you have been here before? It would explain why you knew about the cave, someone who has never seen it would have given up."
Lisa turned around and started walking again, Lucas was even more confused than he already was.
" I believe that is the end of this cave"
Lisa pointed out a light in the distance.
"Good I don't want to be in this darkness any longer."
When they reached the end of the cave the light blinded them, Lucas had to close his eyes or he was scared to go blind, then he heard Lisa's voice.
"Hey Lucas look where we are!"
Lucas opened his eyes slowly but when he saw where he was he didn't know what to say, they were in a village full of life and joy.
"I... I can't believe it ...."
