Lucas and Lisa were astonished by the view they had, an entire city lay among the rocks.
"I...I don't know what to say...."
Lisa didn't reply, he turned his head to see why when he saw guards coming from every side and soon they were surrounded.
"Drop you weapons, and put your hands up in the air."
"we don't have any weapons."
"You maybe not but the girl has a dagger."
Lucas looked at Lisa, she didn't put her hands up neither did she take out her dagger and drop it.
Lucas didn't get it how long did she have that dagger? he hadent seen a dagger on her earlier.
"Lisa just drop it they probably just want to make sure that we are no trouble for them."
Lisa didn't even look at him, but the guards all focused on her.
"Please Lisa just drop it."
"Yes, Drop your weapon girl we are just making sure that you are no trouble for us."
Lisa looked around and grabbed her dagger, she put lay it on the ground, her movements seemed precise, Lucas didn't know anything right now what are these guards going to do? He didn't know the answer.
"Good girl now put your hands in the air."
Lucas saw him grabbing the handle of his sword, he knew what this meant, these people weren't nice ones, these people were bad.
"Lisa.."
Lucas stoped with his sentence when Lisa took her dagger and stabbed one of the guards in the eye.
"LISA WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?"
"I'M MAKING SURE THAT THESE BASTARDS AREN'T GOING TO KILL US!"
A guard near Lucas swong his sword but Lucas was too fast too let him hit,
like that Lucas dodged every blade that tried to hit him and Lisa killed the guards.
"Is that all of them?"
"ARE YOU CRAZY?!?"
"don't shout you'll atract more guards."
"You started a fight, us against 5 Monsters of guards, sure I'm happy that we won but we could of died!"
"If we didn't do anything they would of killed us, I'd rather go out fighting than do nothing wile I die."
"The next time, tell me first what your planning."
"Lets hope there is no next time."
Lucas just nodded he didn't want to speak anymore, Lisa looked like she had done this a million times. She was so prepaird for this fight without doubt she went into battle, Lucas was even more confused than before.
"Lets set up camp somewhere in these alleyways."
"Sure."
Lucas was way too tired to truthfully answer her Question.
That night Lucas tried to get all he knew strait and get some answers, He knew about what happend today and he knew that would happen again someday, so now he had to think about how Lisa had acquired her skill for... killing people, and how she had a dagger on her, the last few days he haddent seen that dagger even before they went inside that tunnel he didn't see it, so where did it come from?
"Hey Lucas?"
"Yes Lisa what is it?"
"That dagger, I don't know where it came from, neither do I know how I could kill... It scares me."
Lucas's mind when haywire at the moment he heard it, she didn't know, she really didn't.
"I don't know either, it's kinda ironic dont you think?"
"How can that be ironic?"
"We ran away from home, we find a city and they try to kill us be were too good to be killed. Then there is the whole dagger incident."
"Its like something in a book."
"Yes it really is."
Lucas turned his back to Lisa so he could sleep.
"And why is it ironic?"
"Because it's like a story."
"I believe that you dont really know the meaning of ironic do you?"
"It means that it's like a story right?"
Lisa chuckelled before she answered.
"Yes, ironic means just that. Now go sleep. Till tommorrow."
Lisa turned around and Lucas was wondering if he should ask what it really meant. Tommorow he thought, Tommorow I'll ask her.
