Chapter 3:Fish out of water

It has been a day since you met Dracyan.You both had made friends with each other ever since that time when you had caught him by accident.But now after coming back from your secondary school,it is time to take Dracyan with you to show him the rest of Langkawi Island.But wait,Dracyan can't walk because he really has a fish tail.So you gave him a lift with a wheelchair that your great grandma previously own before she passed away when you were still a baby.You then rushed up with speed while shouting "Here we come!" because you can't wait for Dracyan to experience his first time in the rest of the island you lived in.

As you and Dracyan arrived near the town,you both went to the nearby food stall which sells street snacks you've liked since your were a small kid.
"Do you enjoy the food there?"
"Hmm."
A cute smile emerged from Dracyan's face as he enjoyed the food he's eating with you right now.He looked downright adorable when you see his first happy smile.He reminded you of your childhood friend,Riki who has been sitting next to you since primary school.But sadly,both of your friendship didn't last forever as Riki moved to Kelantan due to his mother's new job as an employee in a food factory.You felt both sad and happy since the bittersweet moment had hit you right in the feels."Why are you crying?" Dracyan asked curiously."You reminded me of my own old friend." You answered as you told the truth.
"I had a friend too."
"Huh...who?"
"His name is Dravise.He's a white merman who's been my friend since a long time ago."
"Then where is he right now?"
"He's...gone far away."
"WHA...?!"
"I knew that friendships don't last forever,but we certainly can't forget about them."
Dracyan nodded while you did the same thing as he did.Even as life has its own bumpy roads,nothing will make a vicious fate around it.

After eating,you both decided to take a stroll around the Langkawi boardwalk nearby your house.The first thing you saw was a kid yelling:"Mommy,mommy!Look,a real life mermaid." in excitement while his mother tries to hush him because she thought merfolk aren't real like any people in these days."This is just a costume,honey!"she harshly said to her child as he tilted his head slightly in confusion.You were both concerned and relieved because Dracyan's secret isn't exposed even though you knew your great-grandma had told you tales about merfolks before her death arrived towards her.You then continued your wandering with the blue merman accompanying you.You then stopped by the stall nearby you to buy some clothes."Welcome,which kind of clothing did you want?" said the polite clothes saleswoman."A sarong and a hoodie please."
"For who?"
"For him of course." You said while pointing at Dracyan.His tail then swayed a little as he greeted the saleswoman with a wave."AAAAHH,A SEA MONSTER!" she screamed as she looked down towards Dracyan's tail.You then make a run with him for it while pushing the wheelchair containing him in high speed.A random by-passer then stopped by her stall and asked what was going on."There was a real life sea monster,I'm not kidding!"
"Calm down miss,I knew it's just an incident."
"B...but,it's real!"
"Okay,okay,forget about that."

You then shrugged and bring Dracyan back home as the racket behind you was just the saleswoman herself complaining about what she saw just now.You knew that this was going to cause uproar but you're still safe around this situation as people believe that you're born with good luck just like your own friends and family.
