Chapter 3

                        Brad’s POV

We started filming the music video and the director signalled for the girls to start walking. Holy crap. Laura looks amazing. Her hair, her eyes, Mesmerizing.

“CUT! Laura that was perfect!” Steve screamed, pulling me out of my thoughts. Laura then spoke up.

“Thanks! What scene are we filming next?”

“Well, Joe, my assistant, checked the weather forecast and it said it was going to rain soon. So we’re going to call it a day and start filming again tomorrow.”

“Oh okay.” Laura responded. I pulled Laura off to the side.

“So, Laura, can I show you something really cool?” I asked, nervously.

“Sure!” She said cheerfully. I took her hand and dragged her to these rocks on the water about 10 minutes away from set.

“Where are we?” She asked, with an adorable smile on her face.

“Just follow me.” I whispered. I lead her to the rocks and helped her on them. We kept walking until we reached the end. By now we were far from the shore so we sat down.

“Why did you take me here?” She asked.

“I don’t know. It’s just where I go when I need to relax.” I replied, honestly.

“Well it’s beautiful.”

                        Like you. I thought

      “Aww thanks.” She said.

“Wait did I say that out loud?”

“Maybe” She answered with a devilish grin. We just sat there for about 10 minutes letting a comfortable silence fill the air. Within those 10 minutes all I could think about was Laura. Her adorkable personality, her oh-so funny puns, her contagious laugh; the list could go on forever. Those 10 minutes ended abruptly by the feeling of rain on my skin.

      “It’s raining.”  I said, breaking the silence.

“Last one to shore is a rotten egg!”

“Game on.” I replied. I let her have a 10 second head start and then I sprinted past her.

I beat her, but only by 20 seconds. When she got to shore, I enveloped her in a tight hug when the loud sound of thunder caused us to fall. She fell on top of me and our noses touched.

 She started leaning closer when another thunder bolt shook the ground and caused her to jump up.

      “We should go back.” She said.

“O-okay.” I said, disappointed.
