Chapter 9

Adrianna POV
I looked down at my watch for the 50th time since I got here at 12:40.Where the hell is he!?! My watch read 1:56.

I looked around to see the library was full of working people. I sighed deeply and grabbed my things are got up. Who does he think he is ,not showing up! this isn't only his grade but mine!? the audacity he has! on Monday I'm asking for a new partner because this is some bullshit! I made my way to the door, and as soon as I but my hand in the handle the door opened quickly and someone bumped into me.

I stubbled back as my folder I was holding close to my chest dropped on the floor. A sea of paper filled with nonsense flooded the floor. Could this day get any more shitty.

"I'm so sorry, I'm in kind of a hurry", the voice said as I bend down to help me pick up my papers. You don't say. I looked up at him as he helped me. He had long curly hair that was held in a ponytail at the back of his head. His skin was tan but no to tan. He had light brown eyes, and a nose ring on the left side of his nose. he had a small upper lip and full bottom lip that looked soft to the touch. A ring on the right side of his lip to accent. Dang, did he have to bad boy look going on!

I looked down to avoid contact with his eyes. He picked up the last paper and handed me my folder , together again. we both stood up from the floor.
"I'm so sorry", he said once again. this time there was was no avoiding eye contact. he had a flannel shirt that was not buttoned and a white shirt underneath. I need to stop staring, I thought as I seen him chuckle to himself.

"Um thank you for .. I'm helping me.." I say looking down and holding my folder to my chest. "No problem , beautiful", he says are he backs away from me. My cheeks turn hot as I back away as well to the door. As my back hit the door he spoke again. "What's your name", he asked as u slightly open the door.

"Adrianna, and you?"
"Jason" he answers back as he winks at me. My cheeks grow even warmer. Damn is us fine. I go out to door completely to run into Daniel.

The audacity this nigga has!? I look at him as he smiled at me. "What" he says showing a toothy smile. I don't say anything. I sigh angrily and turn to walk down the side walk.

"Look adrianna" he says as he grabbed my arm. "I'm sorry I'm late I had to go run some Arron's for my mom" he said. I rolled my eyes and jerked my arm away. Where does he get off telling me a lie? I begin to walk down the street.

He doesn't come after me. After a few minutes of walking a car pulls and and a familiar voice starts calling my name. Why won't he just leave me alone.

Diggy POV

I pulled up beside he to try and make it up to her. I could tell she knew I was lying when I told her I was doing something's for my mom. You can't just tell a girl you like you were late just because.

"Adrianna" I call for the 100 time in 5 minutes. Her head turns my way and her body stops as she turns to the room and looks at me. "What Daniel ?" , She says with a hint of annoyance. "Let me take you out to lunch and make it up to you , I'm sorry I'm late", I say sincerely.

I smirk to myself a she looks awAy annoyed. she looks so cute when she is mad. She deeply sighed as she walked around to the passengers door as opened it. Success!! She shut the door forcefully and cross her arms across her chest. " Please don't be mad" I say driving down the street to the restaurant.

"I'm not mad at you personally, I'm mad that you think this grade is a game" she says glancing at me then back out the window. " If you wAnna play games , on Monday I'll ask the teacher for another partner".

"I don't think that will be need ma'm , I'll get my act together, just please give me one more chance", I say reassuring her . She is still looking out the window.

" Come on adri, wwjd", I say earning a smirk from her which make me smile. He smile is so beautiful and bright. She should smile more.
