CHAPTER TWO
____

Bang! The door closed with such force it nearly knocked me off my feet.

"What the hell!" I hissed at Jacob.

"Call the police," Jacob commented.

"No! Matters might get worse, I don't even know what's going on. I just got a message from an unknown person." I shoved my phone into Jacobs hand.

"Well, well. We've got a case in our hands." He was excited. Jacob returned from his house with a bag full of tools.

"What are those for?"

"To free your sister duh and to bash out the guy's brain." He grinned cheekily.
We headed out on foot towards the abandoned house on Sobieski Street.
A house stood abandoned away from all the other houses. The doors and windows were patched up with wood and nails. The grass was overgrown and the sounds of crickets could be heard.

"I'm going to knock the door down." I announced.

"Chill. You can't knock down a door. Look at you." Jacob said.

I scoffed. "Like you can either."

"Anyways if you were smart, you would get in quietly and attack." He stated.

"Well aren't you smart. Bet you can't lift a 50 pound weight."

"Why do you take everything so seriously? I was just joking."

"I don't know, maybe the fact that your jokes are corny and--"

"Cut the talk. We got to get in the house." Jacob cut me off.

Jacob went to the back of the house, and climbed the tree to jump on the door.
Lucky for us the windowsill was within reach.

Jacob took his pocket sized hammer out of his back pocket and smashed the window with all his strength.

Pieces of glass, and shards flew everywhere. Jacob jumped inside, and I too jumped.

"Keep quiet," he whispered.

"You just broke the window, so how am I supposed to be quiet," I answered.

"Please for Pete's sake, shut up! Jacob proclaimed.

"Who's Pete?" I asked, teasing him purposely.

"I can't believe you. You're sister might die, and your here telling me jokes."

"Chill dude, its not like I even like her," I said.

"Okay. Okay. Just shut up, and help me. Let's split up, you go downstairs, and I'll stay up here."

"Hah! Your scared." I said.

"No. I'm just staying up here in case your sorry ass gets whooped, so I can help you escape."

"Enough with the talking, I'm going downstairs." I have replied.

Just as I slowly creep down the stairs I hear a faint, yet clear voice of a person I know  I cup my hands around my ear, and hear a man talking to my sister.

"If you squirm, I'll blow your brains out." He threatened. "Stay right here while I take care of some business."

"Oh my god!" I hissed in disbelief. "That guy is my uncle!"

"What?!" Came the voice of Jacob from above. "No way!'

"Yes way. What would he want with her."

"Your uncle deserves to die, and rot in jail," Jacob stated.

About a minute later, my uncle storms from out of nowhere, and goes in front of my sister, and says, "Get up and the put the pin in!" He yelled. "What's taking you so long? Huh! Get up already!"

She stayed quiet and looked at him straight in the eye. "I'm not going to put the pin in for you, asshole."

"What pin are they talking about?" Jacob whispered.

I shrugged. My uncle pulled out a dagger. "So you're not going to tell me? Are you sure."

She spat in his face,"I would never tell you my mom's bank account! Its her property, why the hell should I tell a lowlife like you!" She bit on his arm.

"You insolent brat." He hissed and dug the dagger into her thigh as she yelled in pain.

"How dare you scream!" He said, and punched her on her face.
She was tied against a metal chair. Tears streamed across her face. Jacob struck a rock at his temple and he hissed. He screamed in agony, and pain but didn't even spare a glance towards us, as the sirens of the police were wailing in the distance.

He slung her on his shoulder and bolted for the back door.

"No!" I screamed. "Catch that son of a monster!"  But it was too late.
He has already escaped.

I sat there with my head in my lap wailing like a little kid.

"Its okay," Jacob reassured me. "The police will get him, and I swear once he's in jail, me and you are personally going to give him a visit, and whoop his ass."

"Let's get out of here, and do something about your sister."

"Its too late I stated. Besides we'll never find her at this rate, due to the fact that its almost nighttime."

"Yea, I am so sorry about what happened."

Wiping away my tears, I said "Well it's not your fault. Go home bro, your parents are probably waiting for you."

"Yea, see you tomorrow then," He said.

He opened the door to leave, and just as I looked up I saw a hooded figure of a man, with a baton in his hand who had knocked Jacob out cold.
