Alex P.O.V:
i hear my alarm clock go off which makes me groan. i sit up and yawn turning of the alarm. im only 16 so i'm still in school which sucks but yesterday was the last day of school meaning its summer!! i mentely slap my self for not turning my alarm off last night and before i can lay back down my mom comes in my room
"alexis, im glad you're up, we need to talk be down in 10" she leaves the room before i can say anything so i just groan again. my real name is alexis but my mom is the only one that calls me that and i hate it.
i get up and use the bathroom before going down stairs to see what my mom wants to talk about. "hey mama, what up?" i ask grabbing some grapes that were in a bowl. "well you know how iv been talking to Tom for about a year?" i just nod looking at her confused.
"well, he asked me to marry him!!" my mouth drops and i dont know what to say. "why do you look like your sucking a di.." my brother josh starts to say before he sees my mom standing infront of me "dill pickle.." he finishes and my other brother, matt, joshs twin, laughs.
"good save idiot" i say laughing along with them. "guys im glad your up, i was just telling your sister that the guy iv been seeing ask me to marry him,and i said yes!" both of their mouths fall open and i laugh, "now whos sucking "dill pickles"" i say laughing and eating another grape.
"doesnt he live in kansas?" matt says reading my mind. "yes.. and you guys are going to be upset but we are moving tonight." i dont really care if i move or not because i have nothing here for me but josh is on the football team and matt has a girlfriend who he "loves".
i shrug and go up to my room to pack while the guys argue with mom.
_time skip: night_
i look around at my now empty room, the moving people had taken my bed and stuff so all that was left was my bags full of cloths. i sigh and go to the bath room to make sure i look ok. i had this outfit on:

and i had my hair in a messy bun. i walked out and and walked to the car where my mom was waiting for me.
