I get my puppy and we walk out of the store. "Sooooo..." Sam says breaking the silence . We all look at him confused "ok if no one else is gonna mention it I will... Alex kissed brennen!!!" My face turnes red and I look over to see Colby now standing there with his jaw clenched. He looked mad but I didn't know why. "Yea I know! I guess we all owe you your $20 now" Corey say laughing. I turn my head to look at brennen confused and he gives Corey the Death Stare. "Wait what do you mean corey?" I say looking at him now.
"Alex it's nothing he wa-" I cut him off quickly "I asked Corey" I say looking at him and back at Corey. "Well it's stupid.. brennen just bet us all he could kiss you before the day was over.." my mouth drops my my eye immediately feel with tears. He did all of this for a stupid bet? He kissed me back for a fucking bet??? I look over and brennen and he takes my hand "baby it was a joke, I do like you" I snatch my hand away and shake my head "fuck you brennen" I say and run off with tears running down my face. I hold my new puppy close to me and get outside.
I take my phone out and call a Uber and go home as soon as it gets here. I run up to my room and put my puppy, who I named Simba, on my bed I lay down tears run down my face. Simba comes over and curls on my lap. I giggle and decide to post a picture on instagram

I pet him and kiss his head before pulling him up close to me and going to sleep.
-Time skip- I hear a knock on my door and rub my eyes. "Who is it?" I say tiredly and sit up trying not to wake the sleeping pup beside me. "Hey, it's Colby." I sigh and get up opening my door. "What's up?" I say acting like I was completely fine. "I'm really sorry about brennen Alex, he's a dick" I fake a smile and nod. "Thanks but I'm fine" I say trying to keep it together but a tear falls down my cheek. Colby pulls me into a tight hug and i just let it all out. "It's ok love" he says with one hand around my waist and another holding my head. I had butterflies in my stomach but I didn't know why. I'm not catching feelings right? No of course not! He's my step brother I couldn't do that. After a minute or too he finally let's go and my body suddenly feels cold. I take my blanket and pull it over me. Colby gets and and smiles at me "I'll let you sleep now" he says and goes to walk away. "Wait, Colby?" He stops and looks at me. "Can you stay..?" He looks surprised for a second but then nods and sits at the end awkwardly. I laugh and get up grabbing his wrist and pulling him up to the head with me. He blushes and get comfortable beside me. I close me eyes and slowly drift off to sleep.
-Colby's pov- I look over at her and smile. I look at her bright eyes, her rosy cheeks, button nose, and finally her pink plump lips. I bite my lip as I think about kissing her softly and passionately, touching her soft skin, and her touching m- what the fuck and I talking about!? She's my step sister! I can't catch feeling for my dads wife's daughter! The sound of a phone ding pulls me out of my thoughts. I look over and see her phone light up. I look at her and see she's still sleeping and slowly take the phone. Maybe I shouldn't.. this isn't right. My curiosity takes over and I slide up on the phone. Who doesn't have a password on their phone? I look over at her again and then click on messages.

My breath gets slow and I gulp, fuck Alex. I bite my lip and look over and her seeing her still sleeping peacefully. Is "daddy" the guy I drove her too? Does that mean I wouldn't even have a chance? She did kiss Brennen and he isn't old.. shit here I go again I need to stop she's my sister! She starts to move beside me and I quickly but her phone back. I better get some sleep.
