So, it's been four years since I graduated from UCLA. I recently finished medical school. I'm now 26. Now, all I need to do is prepare myself for four years of residency at a medical facility and I'll finally become the obstetrician doctor I've always dreamed of being. King and I are dating. The twins are eight, Devin is four, and King is twenty eight now. Life is good, I guess. It just ain't peaches and cream.

My bedroom door opens and in walks the last person I want to see right now; King. "Where you been?" I ask. He sucks his teeth. "Out." he says. "Out where? King, don't be getting smart with me." I say. "Damn, Skyler, what the fuck you whining about now, bruh?" he snaps. I can't stand him and his funky ass attitude. After he got out of jail, he never went back to the old him. His attitude issues only sky rocketed. Thankfully, he don't hit me. "Oh, so now I'm whining?" I ask. "Hell yeah. That's all you ever do. You get on my fuckin' nerves. Just get off my nuts." he says. "Well, all you do is break promises." I say.

"Mane, what you talking about? I ain't broke no promises." he says. "See, you say stuff and don't even mean it. You promised me you would be home and have family night with us and we'd spend time together. It's fuckin' three in the morning, so where you been?" I snap. "Minding my business." he says. I swear this nigga be blowin' me.

His phone starts ringing. He ignores it. "Naw, nigga! Answer that shit. Call the bitch back." I yell. "Skyler, what in the hell you talkin bout?" he yells back. "You fucking somebody and I know it! Get out, King!" I scream. "Shut up, Sky. You gon wake the kids up." he snaps. "Man, I don't give a fuck! You won't even spend time with me, let alone your children! Lani cried her fucking heart out, asking why her daddy didn't come eat lunch with her like you promised! Dj was walking around mad at the damn world because you too selfish to show up to the basketball game like you promised! So, don't tell me to quiet down before I wake them! They need to know how much of a terrible father they have, hell. I'd rather wake them up than make them cry!" I scream.

He tilts his head. "You done?" he bluntly asks. No this nigga didn't. "Uuuugh, I fuckin' hate you, bitch!" I scream.

King

"My name ain't bitch. Watch your mouth, ol crazy ass woman." I say. She runs up and starts hitting me all in my chest and my face, screaming and shit.

"Move, bruh!" I yell, throwing her on the bed. "Go to hell!" she yells. "You mad at nothin'." I say. "So, it's nothing to you?" she asks. "Mane, fuck this. I ain't gon argue with you. You be doing you anyway." I say, and with that I walk out. She still behind me yelling shit. "So, you saying I'm cheating? Nigga, I should slap you! I'm through!" she yells, following me out the house. "If you leave this house, you better off not coming back. Bet that." she says. I ain't studying that shit. She ain't going nowhere. She gon be right the hell in the house waiting for a nigga and we both know. Sky be full of shit with them threats to leave.

She just mad. Ol cry baby ass be pissin' me off. I snatch my Bentley door open. She grabs a rock and throws it at the window as I pull off. Ol dumb ass must've forgot it's bullet proof. "Fuck you!" is the last thing I heard her scream. I'm out of there til the morning. Hopefully she calm by then. I swore on life I wasn't gon put my hands on her again and she was pushin' it. I had to dip before shit went left.

I storm back into the house. That's the last time and I mean it. I can't take that shit no more. He ain't shit but a bitch with a dick dangling around in his drawls. He ain't nothing like the man he used to be. That's fine tho. He gon feel me. He pissed me off. I ain't gon be the only one hurting. Bet.
