Chapter 7

KIM TAEHYUNG'S POV

On my way to Jejudo,  she prepared this short vacation for us. I can never say no to her decision, especially if she demands one. Will be staying for a couple of days there and be back to work. Already filed my leave of absence after a day we landed back here in Korea. She also did not forget to send me the video of her performance, that was exceptional seeing how her efforts being paid off.  She looks very stunning that night with her cello. I'm proud of her and I wish could've been there to support her. Just then a flashback on what happened back in Italy in that night came back. 

/flashback when Soo Yeon collapsed and directed to Clinic/

Taehyung hurriedly brought Soo Yeon in the hotel clinic and luckily she was given quick first aid by the nurse on duty. He was nervous when she was lying on the ground unconscious, and started calling out her name. His mind is recollecting back its memory of losing the same person and how did it make him feel the first time, it was anger but now he felt nothing. As long as he can see her doing good, he promised not to bring anything in the past. 

"Sir, Are you the husband?" she asked. After waiting for almost an hour here in the clinic lounge, I can't believe that is the first question she will punch me. 

"No- what? excuse me, but I'm her co-worker.  Please, can you tell me what happened to her? I can't diagnose early symptoms of- Wait!" I just realized what she meant in that out of nowhere question. 

"She is 4 weeks pregnant, Sir and if you are not the Father, please contact him and tell him to take care of her wife and their baby is in critical condition." the nurse just left me with my eyes wide open of disbelief. I can't do what she says in the first place cause I really do not know anything about her life now. Well, except that Jung Hoseok is her first cousin. I don't even know who's she's dating now and give her that baby. 

I tried to be composed as possible, waiting for her to open those beautiful eyes I once fall and tripped over and over again. She looks simply mesmerizing, and I can't believe I'll be watching her this close after the many years we part ways. She still sleeps soundly but looks tired as far as I can remember back in the old days, those days I was still all over Soo Yeon, she was my star. Soo Yeon was my first love. Sliding my hands to cover hers, I can't believe am doing this now.

 But I'm the only person she could hold on now and I'm not leaving her, after all, we once promised to hold onto each other forever.  Yet, she chooses to let me go and I want her to know that I'm thankful she did it, now that I have my world spinning in Lee Ji Eun's life, our future life.

This time I'm going to tell her about Soo Yeon and of course open up the topic about Jungkook in Busan. Preparing myself for making things work out by choosing the right words that would mean so much to her on this sensitive topic. You know how all these couples argued so badly, and what they intended to say are never the right ones causing more conflict on both sides. I tried clearing my mind while traveling to Jejudo since Ji Eun probably arrived there already. 

JEON JUNGKOOK'S POV

/flashback at the hospital. 2 DAYS AGO/

"Hello, this is from room 234, The patient is not here in the room. Where did the patient go? Is he allowed to walk in that condition? Bring him back here!" she half-yelled on the phone. She seems frustrated that I was gone missing in her sight. I'm planning to vacate this room without anyone noticing. That is my goal, but she came back right away before I can exit the room. I'm now in one of these white cabins. Well, you guess it right. I'm having a bandage in my head, a cast in my right hand and hidden in this small compartment.
