Anwen and Archie continue to observe their son as he walked back and forth in the living room. There was something bothering, they needed no other indication that would tell them the opposite.
"You're going to make a hole on the rug, Septimus." His father joked. Trying to cheer up his unusually upset son. "I do believe you can not buy us a new one anytime soon."
"What if she...?" the sudden knock on the door interrupted his sentence. His parents watched as he quickly made way towards the door. "Cedrella?" Anwen stood up from the couch and walked towards the girl, grabbing her hand. She wouldn't look up and trembled at the touch of something warm.
"You alright, my dear?" Cedrella shook her head and looked up. "Come in. Septimus, go grab a blanket for her." Anwen took Cedrella by the arm and sat her down right next to her husband before wrapping the blanket that Septimus was now holding out. "We'll give you two sometime. Archie." Without a hesitation, his parents walked towards their bedroom, leaving Septimus to hold Cedrella as she began to cry once more.
"I'm guessing..."
"I've been disowned by my family." She whispered. "They burned me right off the tapestry." Septimus continues to stay silent as Cedrella continued to tell how everything had gone with her parents and her sister. Her sisters were on the same road she was, her only mistake was being engaged to a "blood traitor"
"Do you regret accepting the engagement?" Septimus finally asked the couple was endued in silence. Cedrella stayed in silence, making Septimus's palms sweaty.
"No." He let out the breath he didn't think he was holding in. "I don't regret my answer." She took a deep breath and held on his hand, giving him a comforting smile. "Never in a million years."
----
The ceremony involved just Septimus's parents and some friends from school. Those who had enough courage to show up and support the happy couple. Cedrella Black was now Cedrella Weasley and she had never felt such pride. She looked around the small group of guests, sharing a smile with all those who stared at her and felt the small tug of the heart string when she met eyes with her sisters and their husbands. She squeezed her husband's hand, breaking his conversation with his cousins.
"Are you ready?"
"Yes." Septimus excuses himself and the couple walks towards the sisters.
As they are standing in front of each other, Cedrella bit down the urge to wrap and attack her sisters in a hug.
"It's a surprise to see you here."
"We couldn't miss it. You must be Septimus?" He nods. Cheris and Callidora give him a nod and look once again at her. "You seem happy."
"I am. I hope you..."
"This appearance does not mean we merely support your decision, Cedrella." Callidora butted in as Cheris began to open her mouth. "But you are our sister, and we will support you." Cedrella felt as if the entire world had started to turn into her favour.
"Thank you."
Harfang was the first one to break the silence to give a hug to his new brother-in-law.
"Let us celebrate," He said, summoning a few drinks. "to the newlywed."
--
It was not only a few months later when the sisters began to lose contact with each other as they began to grow their own families. First, it was the birth of Augusta to Callidora and Harfang that impacted the sisters first. Cedrella felt joy for her sister as she got the birth announcement of her niece the same day she had found out she was expecting her firstborn. Septimus was bouncing off the walls, excited to finally start a family, and still, have some youth in him so that he may be able to catch up with the little Weasley that would be running their home floors.
"I think we should keep the pregnancy to ourselves, Septimus." She whispered as tears began to run down her face. "Can you believe the uproar my parents will make when they find out I'm expecting our first child. I wished they weren't the way they are."
"My parents will be delighted, Ced." He wraps his arms around her shoulder and places his chin on top of her head. "You may have the rage of your parents, but my mother will be squealing of happiness and monitoring your every moment."
"Do you think that an extra branch has grown out of the tapestry of my parents' house?"
"I truly believe so, but they are not within our reach, and therefore should not be a problem anymore, love. All you need and want is right here, in this home."
"I love you, Septimus."
"As I you."
