The brave face that Cedrella gave Septimus that afternoon did not fool the boy. He knew there was something going on, in fact, she was off the entire day. It was the little things he didn't notice today that made him keep a very close eye on her. It was the very day that Cedrella had received a personalized invitation for her older sister's wedding. In fact, it was a wedding for one and an engagement announcement for the other. There was no space for Cedrella to express her true emotions for her older sisters, and Septimus could see that.
They sat by against the tree on a Saturday afternoon and the two were reading their own books, trying to get their minds busy. The school year was about to finish, both of them just waiting for the day to get their last examination results and pushed out to serve the wizardry world it was. Septimus noticed that Cedrella did move from the same page for a while. She would flip back and forth the page, and her leg would bounce up and down.
"You alright?" He finally asked when both of her legs didn't seem to stop bouncing and the harsh turn of the page was another hint he took that she wants to talk about what was bothering her.
"I'm going to be alone in a home where I might not be accepted, Septimus." Cedrella sat up and put her book aside. "My sisters are going to marry into families my parents accept and highly respect. They're off to create families and live a beautiful life."
"You can always marry someone who is accepted."
"And never love them the way I love you? Weasley, you're an idiot." Septimus put down his book and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close. Cedrella sighed and crossed her legs, bringing them closer to her body. "I don't want to be in a marriage I'm not going to be happy in." Septimus kisses the back of her head before placing his head on her shoulder and looked at her.
"So marry me." He mumbled and observed on how her cheeks were now turning the slight pink that he loved to cause.
"You're crazy."
"Cedrella, I'm not joking. I don't want you anywhere near that home. Not after that howler you received."
"You heard about that?"
"Malfoy wouldn't shut up about it the entire class." Cedrella shook her head and closed her eyes. "So will you?"
"You're asking me to marry you, right here? Right now?"
"Or do you want it to be with flowers and hearts? Because I can do that."  Cedrella kissed him lightly before standing up and grinning.
"Cedrella Weasley, has a nice ring to it, don't you think?" Septimus grabbed her hands and placed a kiss on both.
"Music to my ears."

Cedrella looked at her boyfriend from across the room. They were sending each other small notes from one end of the great hall to the other. There was no other feeling that she was feeling that moment. She was ridiculously and utterly in love with the ginger man that sent her small notes with hearts and her last name replaced with his. There was the want of running away from her home and from those who did not let her have the happiness she wanted to obtain. The couple continued to talk about the marriage proposal and building their own family. One where their children will never be wrong for loving another that wasn't of their level in society. A home with a freedom that Septimus grew up with and the freedom that Cedrella craved for.

A few months later, the two were walking hand in hand towards the tree they always went to after classes or during the weekends. Cedrella fixed the ends of her dress and leaned against Septimus as they stood under it.

"This is bittersweet."

"Our last day here."

They stayed quiet for a while before Septimus cleared his throat and turned her around. Cedrella looked at him confused until he slowly began to kneel on one knee. She looked around, wondering who else was watching this, a proof that she was not dreaming of this moment.

"Cedrella." He started before the flowers started to grow around her.

"No way, you're doing this right now." Septimus chuckled.

"Marry me?"

The entire ride home, Cedrella continued to fiddle with the simple ring that now rested on her finger and a small smile on her face. Her father kept looking at her, smiling as she knew that he was happy that she was back home and this time for good.  Deep down he knew that the smile on her face would disappear as quickly as she arrived home. Her sisters were waiting for her to arrive home, but so was her mother who was not happy at all.

When Cedrella accepted the marriage proposal from the Septimus Weasley, his face and name immediately burned on the wall, right where Cedrella's husband would be.

There was no other method that he was able to hide it from his wife. It was going to be a rough night for his little girl, a rough night for the Black family indeed.
