Hi mom I said when I came in the door. There was no response. I swear she is trying to plan my baby sisters whole life. I yelled mom you know dad is kissing another girl. That's nice sweetheart she replied. Mom I got my report card today. Let me she said not looking up. I handed it to her and started up to my bedroom. Too late! My mom screamed Jewel this report card is trash. It's only four b's and one a I yelled.

Stop yelling Jewel she hissed very loudly or you'll wake Cindy. And you will not I said and ran to my room. She screamed your grounded for one week of electronics & two months of riding lessons. It wasn't fair. Cindy this, Cindy that was all I ever heard about.

I couldn't take it anymore or ever. I was leaving and never coming back. I packed my bag with blankets, food, and a few other things. I walked down stairs and yelled mom I'm going for a ride and I ain't coming back. Cool sweetie did you do your homework. Yes mom I answered knowing I never had to again.

I walked out to the stables and went down the row of stalls to my mare. She was a thoroughbred Belgian cross. I saddled her English and put a bitless bridle on her. I grabbed a few things I need for her in her saddle bag  and jumped on. We cantered across the field not knowing where to go.
