Chapter 2: The trip to kill a brother

Kaleb stared at me, "I thought you were an orphan with no siblings?"

"I am and thought I didn't have any," I display no emotion on my face, but I'm shocked on the inside. "How did you find out I had a brother, I didn't even know."

"DNA," says Ron. I nod of course, I was left at the orphanage alone so this comes as a surprise to me. 

"Give me the details," I respond to Ron. 

Kaleb gives me a wide eye look, "You didn't even hesitate, are they brain washing you guys now to have no emotions?" I give him a side ways death glance, "I understand, you can communicate with me through your eyes." 

"Shut up."

"Yes my lady," Kaleb says with a salute. 

Ron clears his throat, "Kaleb stop flirting." 

"I'M NOT RON!" Kaleb yells back. I roll my eyes.

"Ok, the rest of your info you will receive on the jet," Ron says to my eye roll.

"WE GET THE PRIVATE JET!" 

"Yes, because Shadow is the top of her class, unlike you Kaleb," Ron burns Kaleb.

Kaleb says pointing to his chest, "That hurts man, really hurts." I stand and grab a pack with my name on it by the door and head out without Kaleb. 

"WAIT!" I hear Kaleb yell as he sprints down the hall. "You really aren't a team player are you."

"I haven't ever worked with someone, my friend Lillie is my only friend so I have no reason the work with anyone else, also because I'm the top of my class."

Kaleb steps in my way and looks me in the eye with warmth, "Shadow...now you have two friends."

"I don't know if Ron is my friend," I say as I step around him and continue down the hall. I can't help but smirk.

Kaleb catches up, "You and Ron are practically the same person." He seems a little upset. We hop onto a elevator and head down to the lowest floor. Diana is waiting down there for us.

"Hop in," she says with a smile and waves us into a slick and shiny jet. I bounce up the steps and find a seat at the back. Among all the seats Kaleb has to come sit in the one across the table from me. "I hope your well...lets just hope Kaleb hasn't made a move on you Shadow," Kaleb smirks at me and kicks my foot from under the table. "Lets proceed, Taylor, Shadow's brother, is on a small privately owned island just off the coast of Vlore, Albania. You will have to get there by a mini stealth sub and take him out. Then upload all the documents on his computer then burn the estate down." I whip out my lighter and flip it on. "Rrrright, good luck" She stalks to the door than turns and gives Kaleb a look and makes a slicing motion against her neck.

I kick Kaleb really hard under the table, "OW!!!"

"What ever you do that I find annoying to me I will return much harder," Kaleb rubs his new bruise. 

"Sooooo...lets say I lightly kissed you and you found that annoying, would you kiss me bad "much" harder?" I roll my eyes then Kaleb pretends to make kissing noises. I grab up my bag and head to the private bedding areas. "I'll take that as a yes," he shouts back.

I unzip my jumpsuit a little for some comfort while I take a nap on our 13 hour trip.

While sleeping I slipped into my usual dream. I'm running through an abandoned  building looking for something, the thing is, I just don't know what it is.

The plane does a jump and I wake up. I jump up and run through the door looking out the window to see who is attacking us. Luckily nothing is happening.

Kaleb pokes his head out from behind the seat and takes out an ear bud, "Getting a little to comfy are we?" Kaleb nods at my chest which is exposed. I forgot!!!!! My face turns a deep red and I zip up my jumpsuit as fast as I can catching my bra. I can't get my bra out of the zipper so I turn around. I feel a hand on my shoulder, "Would you like some help?" I turn my head to give Kaleb a I'll will kill you when you're not looking glare. He takes his hand off and lifts them like he his being caught by the cops and walks back to his seat. I can't zip it up so I head to the bathroom.

"Damn jumpsuit things," I mummer.

"Hey darling, I kind of need to use the restroom," I hear Kaleb say through the door. I unlatch the handle, covering my chest, and walk to the back where all the bunks are. I struggle to get the zipper up but succeed. I head back out to the cabin with all the seats.

Kaleb gets out of the bathroom and picks up two letter jackets and hands one to me, "I might get a little cold."

I grab the jacket. "Does everything I wear have to be leather?" I say as I shrug on the jacket, I find my utility belt and latch that on. I seat myself towards the front.

Kaleb slides into the seat next to me, "So we're going to land in the city nearest to the island and head out immediately." I nod.

Once we land we hop into a van and drive for about ten minutes. We come to a halt and jump out. I find myself at a bout launch. Kaleb leads us to a small jet boat, "This is our ride, hop in." I climb into the sleek white boat.

"How long till we get there?" I ask. 

"Five minutes at the most," the man captaining the boat says. I settle in a seat in the back. 

I close my eyes, I haven't been to the sea since I was about three, I splashed and played in the water with the other orphans I stayed with.

I feel the boat slow down. "Come on darling," Kaleb motions for me to get into a little black raft. "We have to go in with this thing cause the cameras will see the jet boat." I hop down into the raft and Kaleb takes a seat at the back to run the motor. We zoom off towards a small island with a single building, clearly the only thing on the island. 

Kaleb turns the motor off and flicks me the sign to get low, so I find a spot on the floor to crouch down. I peer over the top as we drift towards the small patch of bushes on the island. We hit the sand and jump out, Kaleb drags the raft into the bushes and covers it with a mesh. We check our surroundings and head to a small grate built into the little shed. Kaleb opens it and I crawl into a ventilation shaft, Kaleb checks that no one saw us and slides in behind me. 

"Not that bad of a view from back here darling," Kaleb says, I can hear the smirk on his face. 

"Stop calling me that."

"I'll try." We push forward until we come to a vent on the bottom of the shaft. I crawl over it so Kaleb and see it to, I turn around and open it. Kaleb pokes his head through. "It's safe," He says as he jumps down. I follow suite and jump down into a crouch. 

My arm band turns on and shows a map, a arrow points to the left. "This way," I whisper to Kaleb and we follow my wrist band into a large room filled with computer screens, but no one is there. "Watch out for me," I say then run across to what looks like the main computer. I pull out the flash drive and shove it into a USB port and open up the computer. I up load our virus to get all the information. 

As I'm watching the screen upload I hear Kaleb trying to get my attention, "darling...darling...Shadow!" he whisper-yell. I ignore him and pay attention to the computer.

"Well, well, well. Emeline...have you decided to visit your dear brother?" I twirl around, THAT'S NOT KALEB'S VOICE! WHO IS THAT!!!! A boy who can't be any older than me stands with his arms wide open with a evil smirk on his face.
