//Dre POV//

"Man ion know what the fuck imma do." Red said sitting across from me with tears running down his face.

"For now we got a funeral to plan."

"Why the hell would he go without us, we never do shit alone especially with somebody we just met!"

"Red you can't be mad at him." Red's not the type that can handle death. He was a mess when mama died.

"Maaan, you the only person I got left." He paused to wipe his face. "But I'm not all you got left."

"Red you my brother and damn near my son."

"I know. I'm bouta go riding. I can't be here." He got up pulling his car keys out his pocket and left.

I hadn't shed a tear yet, but for some reason I just couldn't except Bird being dead. I just don't feel it.

I need to vent to someone so I called Ariyah.

"Riyah?"

"What Dre?"

"Bird died."

"Are you serious!?"

"Yeah can you come over?"

"No, you need to change, what happened to your brother could have been you, and I know the exact reason why he died. You keep fucking with the streets you won't be seeing my baby til you stop cause I don't want that around my child at all." Then she hanged up. Her voice was shaky, I could tell she was crying.

I didn't understand why she was mad at me she knew exactly what she was getting into before she got with me.

Then I looked down at my vibrating phone. Darrell texted me.

I'm going to take care of everything, from the cost of everything to finding out who did this, you, your brother and all your friends and family just need to show up to the memorial service on Wednesday at McCarty Memorial Christian Church 10:00. -D

Alright then Pops -Dre

Right after my text message sent, Keeda started to call.

"Hello?"

"I heard about Bird, are you okay? Im on my way over there." Keeda said loud in the phone.

"Alright.." How the hell did she find out.

Thirty minutes later Keeda was knocking on the door. When I opened it she was crying hard and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"I just can't believe this." She said walking in past me and going to sit on the couch.

"I know. How'd you find out?" I said shutting the door.

"Red made a flipagram of Bird on Instagram with hashtag R.I.P. and I damn near died. I didn't even go to class today."

"Oh."

"Have you been to the morgue?"

"No, they don't have a body and Darrell said he gone take care of everything."

"What you mean they don't have a body?"

"He got shot, then the car exploded." When those words came out my mouth I almost shed a tear and Keeda covered her mouth and started crying harder. I pulled her close to me and held her.

"Oh my God, Bird was one of the sweetest guys I know. Even though he wasn't a saint, he still had a good heart." She said wiping her tears.

"I know, I remember when he was little he would say he didn't want want people crying or have sad music playing at his funeral."
