A 2007 romantic comedy-drama directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. One the duos best films up to date. It also stars Rishi Kapoor, Javed Sheikh, Upen Patel and Clive Standen in supporting roles. Kumar gave us an excellent performance in this one.
It tells the story of a man who takes his thoroughly-British daughter to his home country, India. There, he arranges her marriage to someone she considers a fool. The daughter attempts to outwit them, but the groom quietly and patiently hatches his own plan.
A blockbuster that endorses the family values which are quickly disappearing in todays world. I believe it also has quite a few life lessons. You should never forget your roots. True love is when one loves without expecting anything in return.
A must watch family movie which is available on Netflix. Highly recommended to those who love a light paced romantic comedy. 😍😂 With great soundtracks that are still pretty good to listen to. 🎧🎶🎵🎼
