"jihyo-ah. hey, jihyo." a girl with long hair came up to me. "hi, jihyo. hi, i'm nayeon. i've been crushing on you since i saw you for the first time." she said and flashed a smile showing her teeth. it's cute. she looks like a bunny.

"oh, hi. you know that i already have so-" she cut me off holding me by both of my sides which caught me a little off guard. "i know about you and jeongyeon. i still want to say i like you. i would accept being friends with you, if you don't want to accept my admiration for you." she said.

i don't know what to say. s-she likes me? i should accept being friends with her, right? she said she would accept it. just being friends with her.

"s-sure. i mean, yeah. let's be friends. just friends." i replied. her face became gloomy. she tried to gain her composure and smiled. "yeah, you're my friend now." i can see she's hurt. but i love jeongyeon.

"what's the reason?" sana keeps asking me. we went out to buy some groceries for tonight. we're staying at momo's house for a slumber party. jeongyeon and momo are left at home.

"why do you want to know so much, sana-ya?" i asked with an irritated tone. but i'm not really irritated. she pouted at me. how cute. who could resist this squirrel.

"well, i want to know you more, jihyo-ah. you're my friend. still, i know nothing about you." she said and pouted again. i pat her head and leave her at the drinks section.

i went around shelves and stopped by to see foods. what should i get? sana followed me stomping her feet like a little kid whining. she went closer and clinged unto my arms. "jihyo-ah. please. tell me why? or atleast tell me how you met." she said acting cute.

i chuckled lightly. "why don't you ask jeongyeon yourself. you're friends too." i said and smiled. i grabbed 5 bags of chips and put it on our cart which is almost full.

we went to the counter and paid for the foods. "oi, jihyo-ah. you really won't tell me? i'm sad now." she said sulking. i chuckled softly. we hailed a cab and went home. she finally stops asking and fell asleep leaning on my shoulders.

"chaeyoung." she mumbled in her sleep making me turn my attention to her. she knows chaeyoung? i've never heard of her from chae. were they a thing? "sorry." she mumbled again. sorry? for what?

we reached home and i start to wake her up. she woke up looking into my eyes deeply. her eyes screams sadness. was it because of her dream? i looked away from her and fake a cough.

"let's go. they're waiting." i said. we paid the cab and got our groceries. we went in and saw jeongyeon and momo laughing at each other. "ya, yoo jeongyeon. that's the first joke you made me laugh." momo laughs.

"we're here." sana shouts earning a look from them. "oh, nice. what did you guys bought." momo said and looked through the groceries. aigoo, this eating machine.

she grabs two bag of chips and opened them at the same time. since one room is not enough for the four of us. so we are going to divide in pair for sleeping.

we draw straws and i was paired with sana. we talked and stuffs. sana, little by little, fell asleep leaning her head on me again. same with momo falling asleep on jeongyeon.

"we should put them in bed." jeongyeon speaks. i nodded and carried sana to our room. i covered blanket over her and pats her head. is jeongyeon sleeping already?

i should check. i opened the door and jeongyeon fell in. what is she doing? she stands up quickly and gained her composure. "just checking, if you are also asleep." she said looking away.

i smiled at her. "i was about to do that too. aren't you sleepy?" i ask her. "not yet. i thought of eating first. would you mind to join me?" jeongyeon asked. i nodded and walked with her to the kitchen. she cooked some ramen and grab two sodas from the fridge.

she opened one and passed it to me. i sipped and gently placed it on the table. the ramen was done and she divides it into two. she gave me one and we ate peacefully. "thank you for accepting our friendship. even though we were once lovers." jeongyeon said breaking the silence.

"i should be the one saying that. thank you so much jeong. for everything." i said with a smile sipping the last drop of my soda. she finished hers and we cleaned the kitchen.

before i went inside i and sana's room, jeongyeon held my arm. "goodnight, jihyo." she said. i smiled and and replied. "goodnight to you too, jeongyeon. and i'm really sorry." i said mumbling the last part before entering the room.

i sighed before closing my eyes, deep in slumber.
