"jihyo!" i looked back at the person who called me. it's nayeon. "oh, nayeon. you need something?" i asked her and she shook her head quickly.

i squinted my eyes on her. if she doesn't need anything, why did she called me? "it's nothing jihyo." she said and pecked my cheeks. she then ran away. i stood still like a statue still trying to recover from earlier.

im nayeon just kissed my cheeks. how could i recover from that. "what was that all about?" jeongyeon said walking to me seeing nayeon running like a little kid away from us.

i suddenly felt shivers on my skin. "what do you mean?" i asked. she then stared at me for a while. "that girl. who was that anyways? i keep seeing her these past few days." jeongyeon said and passed me an ice cream she was holding on one of her hands.

"ah. that's nayeon. my new friend. why? something wrong?" i asked. i looked at her eyes. something's bothering her. she quickly shook her head. "none, ji. nothing. let's go." she said and went to our room with this distance.

i wonder why.

i woke up with a weight on me. i opened my eyes to see someone's arm wrapped around me. i looked at my side to see sana and i immediately stood up waking her up.

she rubbed her eyes softly and looked at me. "oh, jihyo. sorry, i must have bothered your sleep. it's just i can't sleep without hugging a pillow. i'm sorry." she said which i understood. jeongyeon used to hug me too, when we sleep.

i smiled remembering that memory. "it's okay, sana. i know someone like that too. it just kinda shocked me, i guess." i said with a chuckle. she smiles widely. "i see. let's have breakfast." she suggests and i nod.

she walks out first and i followed. as we entered the kitchen, i see momo having two plates of pancakes while jeongyeon is sipping on her coffee. she's such a beauty in the morning.

"oh, you both woke up. have some toasted bread. you don't want to bother momo with her foods." jeongyeon joked which made momo glare at her. if only momo knows how much jeongyeon actually likes her.

sana sat down and offered me the seat next to her. i sat down and ate some. i should go home early. chaeyoung might be waiting for me. "guys, i should go home after this. chaeyoung will be waiting at home." i said after finishing my food.

"ah, right. how is she and mina doing these days? i heard they are dating." jeongyeon asked still munching on her food. momo suddenly nudges her and sana looked away.

uhm? what is happening? jeongyeon suddenly went silent. everyone did. "she's doing good with mina. is it a problem talking about chaeyoung's relationship here?" i asked confused of what happening. they know something i don't.

jeongyeon and momo looked at sana. she still looks away. why so? "sana? can we? i think you should." momo speaks in a serious tone. she's not looking my way nor any of the two.

"that might be why i feel comfort from her." she mumbles but i heard it anyway. "chaeyoung's my ex. and the only person i loved." she said in a low tone but enough for us to hear.

i suddenly went silent. how come i never knew about this? she actually has a soft heart and it's for chaeyoung, my cousin. she's my cousin but i treat her as my younger sister.

"sana, i'm sorry for hearing tha-" she cut my words as tears escape her eyes. "no, jihyo. i'm more sorry. i should be the one saying sorry. i've hurt chaeyoung so much. it's my fault. i should've chose the right words. i've hurt chaeyoung and it's all my fault" she cried her heart out.

i felt a stung in my heart. there's no one to side with. it's not their fault. maybe, they are not just meant for each other. or maybe the timing just ain't right. i wiped the tears dropping from her eyes. "it's alright, sana. chaeyoung, seems happy now. it's not your fault, sana. i believe so. it's not chaeyoung's fault nor yours." i said with a smile.

she suddenly hugs me. i hugged back. and the two just looked at us. i chuckled a little. "what? is it new to see friends hug?" i ask almost laughing. they quickly shook their heads making me and sana burst laughing.

they look cute together. i remembered i need to go. chaeyoung is waiting. "ah. i should really go now." i said and grabbed my stuffs ready to go, when momo stopped me. "wait! let jeongyeon send you. it's safer that way." she said winking. i chuckled. i just agreed.

jeongyeon hailed a cab and we got in. after five minutes of the ride with silence, she spoke. "that was quite emotional earlier, isn't it?" she asks looking at the view outside.

"yeah. but it ain't a big problem. everything is just not right. maybe that's why they broke up." i said speaking my mind. she glances at me. "yeah, everything is not right. they're not for each other? that's what you're saying, right?" she asks still looking at me which i can see in my peripheral vision.

"maybe." i said like i need to assure her something. "right. maybe." then everything went silent again until i reached home. "see you at school tomorrow." i said which she agreed with a smile and went away.

i ring the doorbell and mina opens it. she's here? chaeyoung is standing behind her with a smile. "oh, jihyo unnie. you're home." she says with a wide smile. why didn't she told me about sana? i realized i've been staring blankly at her.

"ah, yeah. good morning to you two. i have something to ask you though, chaeyoung." i said with a blank stare. we need to talk about sana.

So, yeah. I cleared the relationship between Chaeyoung and Jihyo
At first I was thinking if they should be siblings
I just settled on them being cousins
Because I think it might cause some future problems in the story
