GROWING UP I WAS ALWAYS TOLD THAT LIFE CAN CHANGE WITH JUST A SNAP OF A FINGER. That I was supposed to live my life to the fullest and do whatever I wanted to do before I died.

( Load of bull. )

Seventeen years of living the life I have and nothing. No cliche love story, no weird looking objects, or any fancy looking wardrobe, just this a plain old life like everyone in this universe begins with. My whole life's been revolved around nothing but work and studying.

I look down at my watch to see if my shifts over, then look back up at the window. I sigh, and go back to what I was doing.

I start to re-read the notes I have for my exams. I get halfway through the first page, before I get smacked in the head. I wince at my pain, as I look up. There was a familiar looking brunette standing in front of me.

" Rose! Why the hell did you do that?! "

She smacks my head again.

" Did you already forget?! It's shift changing. "

I rub the spot where she smacked me.

" Idiot. That isn't 'till an hour. "

Rose smacks me once more, but this time harder.

" I have no clue how our mom can deal with you. "

" Why the heck are you talking about now? "

Rose rolls her eyes.

" What day was it yesterday? "

I look at her confused, before getting smacked in the face again.

" It was daylight savings yesterday, you idiot. "

" That was yesterday? "

" Leave. "

" I'm serious being, was it yesterday. "

" And I'm being serious too, leave. "

Before I knew it, I was already on my bike, biking towards my house.

( She wouldn't even let me take my damn notes. Now, I'm going to fail my exams because of her. )

My mind soon wanders off, before getting a buzz from my phone. I ignore it, thinking that it was probably my sister saying that I forgot my notes. Minutes pass, when my phone starts to vibrate rapidly. I take out my phone, hoping that I won't crash into something.

Once I turn on my phone, the vibrating stops. There was a notification for Webtoons saying that a Lalin's Curse has been updated.

( Weird. I shouldn't be getting anything, since I don't have any Wifi, or data. )

I glance back onto the road, and start to panicking.

" Sh*t, sh*t, sh*t! "

I quickly jam the breaks, and pray that I won't crash, and to my luck I don't. I sigh in relief. I then look down on the ground

( Stupid cat. )

The cat then starts to roll on the ground, hoping that it can get rubbed. I roll my eyes and get off of my bike. I start rubbing it.

( Why the fluff am I rubbing the cat that almost got me killed? You know who cares, this gives me a chance to see what's happening on my phone. )

I punch in my pin, and look at my WiFi settings, and just like I expected, I wasn't connected to any WiFi, nor was there any one that I could connect to nearby. I could feel the cat slowly feel the cat going away. Soon enough my curiosity gets to the best of me, and I press into the notification. Before it had a chance to finish loading, I could hear honking. I jerk my head around, and just like that my vision came to a blur.
