NEVER MAKE A DEAL WITH A CAT, EVEN IF YOUR ABOUT TO GO TO HELL. A person with common sense would know this, but apparently I have none. Not only do I have learn a new language, i have to go through puberty again.

( Stupid cat. )

For five whole years, I've had no clue what any one has been saying and I've been trying my best to learn, but its been driving me nuts. To top it off, I have the consciousness of a teenager, so yeah, my life's been great so far.

I stare outside of the car window, trying to find a reason not to jump out of the window.

( I mean this life has been shit so far, so what's the point. My mother got a divorce with my father, I have no clue what the heck is going on, and I think I'm moving. Why did I have to make this deal. )

I sigh. This catches the attention of my dad in the rear view window, as he's driving in the front.

( Crap. )

" Are you bored back there? " He asks.

I turn to his direction, and smile and nod, knowing that I have no clue what he just said.

" Well don't worry, we're almost there. "

I continue to smile and nod.

( I mean the only good thing is I can tell people off in English, but it'll probably make me look insane. )

As my father, continues to drive, my eyes just wander back off outside, to the forest. A few minutes pass, and I notice a sign that read; " Welcome to Lalin ".

( Lalin. Sounds familiar. )

I ignore it and just continue to stare off into the forest. The forest quickly changes into houses, as we enter the city. I turn my attention to my dad to, ready to tell him something.

" Bathroom. "

( One of only three words I know. Bathroom, food, and sleep. Thank gosh I remembered it. )

My father, smiles.

" Don't worry we're almost there. "

A few minutes pass.

( Why does my bladder have to small? )

I try my best to hold it in, and my father notices that I'm struggling. I notice that he starts to speed up.

( Crap. If we get pulled over, its going to be my fault. )

I try to show that I'm not struggling, but it doesn't work. Before I knew it, we stopped somewhere. As my father goes out of the car, I quickly try to take off of my seat belt.

( Why do my hands have to be so small? )

Before I could do anything else, I have my dad un-buckling my seat and taking me out. I notice that we're in front of a house.

" Don't worry, they're friends, " He says.

I grabbed my father's arm, tightly.

( This is a orphanage isn't it? He's going to leave me isn't he? )

My dad closes the car door, and before I knew it we were walking up towards the house.

( He hates me, this is why he's doing this. Its the only reason. He's been acting so nice to me today, I mean he always has been, but he probably hates me. )

I feel like I'm about to cry. My dad notices.

" Don't worry, it's David's house, don't you remember him? "

I stare at him.

( I feel like he's asking me a question. What do I do? )

I do the one thing I can do, I smile and nod, hoping it was a yes or no question. Now we stand in front of the door, my dad knocks on it. I go and stand behind my father, and grab onto his legs.

( He's going to get rid of me. He's sending me to an orphanage. Nobody loves me. I'm going to be by myself for the rest of my life. )

The door slowly opens, as I can feel the tears about to come out of my eyes. The door finally opens, and I see a familiar looking women standing in front of us.

She gives my dad a hug. After their done, they start having a coversation, that I have no clue what their saying.

I peek inside the house, hoping to find a clue on why the lady looks familiar. I notice two boys playing with each other. It takes me a while, but once I notice that one of the boys has amber eyes, I realize it.

" F*ck. "

AUTHOR NOTE

Sorry for the long wait! I was busy with my life, and kind of forgot I had this book. I hope you enjoy this chapter! A side note, so you don't get confused, the rest of David Two's past (in the Lalin's Curse universe), will be told through flashbacks, since the next chapter will be diving into the Lalin's Curse plot.
