I turned around to look at the shocked faces of the group. Immediately, Shane grabbed my arm and started yanking me towards the group. Knowing that I couldn't get out of being questioned, and that I wasn't in much danger, I let him drag me to where everyone else was standing.

"I guess I should explain huh?" I said while rubbing the back of my head.

"Damn right you should kid!" It was Daryl who answered.

Lowering my head in defeat I started walking back towards the group, "We should probably get out of here first, who knows what else will come after us if we stay here any longer."

The group started to protest against what I had said. As soon as the noise started, I stopped in my tracks.

"Why should we listen to this child?"

"Why does he have to travel with us?"

"Did you see what he did? What else do you think he could do?"

Rick walked to stand in front of me and held up his hand to quiet everyone down.

"Listen. This is a child!"

That stopped everyone. Rick continued.

"You want to abandon a child. He needs to be protected we found him about to be eaten by walkers."

I put my hand on Rick's arm, "Hey Mr, it's ok I can leave if they don't want me here. I'm used to it." As I turned to leave when someone else spoke.

"I think we should take him with us, he's only a kid and I have a couple of questions for him."

The woman walked up to me and grabbed my hand.

"Hello my name's Lori what's yours?"
