Fear (Percy Jackson crossover with The Walking Dead)

Chapter Three

Nico

I opened my eyes when I heard a click and sat up. Looking towards the sound I saw an old man sitting in a chair beside the bed that I was in. Knowing not to underestimate the enemy, I quickly stood up, getting into a fighting stance, ready for hand to hand combat.

"Hey now, I'm not going to hurt you," the old man stated.

"Why should I listen to you?" Nico asked, "I don't really trust strangers."

"Well if thats the case then my name is Hershel."

"I'm Nico. Where am I?"

"You're on my far-"

"Hershel! We have a problem!" A man came in yelling, "There's walkers everywhere! We have to leave. Now!"

No One

Nico watched as the two men started to gather supplies. Shaking his head he went towards the window. "

"You should have left me there," he said stopping both men in their tracks.

"What do you mean boy?" The man growled.

"Don't call me boy."

"What do you mean by we shouldn't have brought you here Nico?"  Hershel asked.

"These walkers as you call them are here for me."

"We don't have time to play make believe boy we have to go!" The man reached to grab Nico but was stopped by Hershel.

"Shane that's enough." Hershel ordered. "Nico we have to leave now."

Nico turned around to face the two men.

"Why should I listen to you?" Nico asked, "I barely know you."

"Because you'll be safe with us."

"And how do I know that?"

"We were the ones who brought you here boy! Stop being so stubborn, and let's go!" Shane grabbed Nico and started pulling him out of the house.

Nico

"Let go of me I don't want to go anywhere with you!" As I struggled in his grip,
He dragged me out of the house where these "Walkers" were slowly closing in. I finally got out and stopped.

"Hey kid! What're you doing get in the van!" Shane yelled.

"No. These 'Walkers' as you call them are here for me." I said as I started my to walk towards the horde of zombies.
