How it all started. (GirlxGirl)

Chapter 9

Hello fellow readers!! I realized in the last chapter I spelt cried wrong -__- Soryr about that. To make it up, here's chapter nine!!!!

After lunch I was walking to class when Alex came up to me. Oh great..

"Hey Crystal I wanted to talk to you." She grabbed my arm and spun me around. Now I have to deal with this. 

"What is it?" I looked down at the ground because I couldn't even look at her because all that does is give me pain.

"I know that I hurt you, but I wanted to know if we can at least be friends, I don't want to lose you completely." My head snapped up. Is she serious right now? SHE wants to be friends?

"Sure!" I didn't even mean for that to come out! Why do I have to be so nice?

"Okay, I'll talk to you later then!" She kissed my cheek then left. I cannot even believe what happened. Whatever, I'm just going to finish this day off..

When I got home I cleaned a little and then went to my room. Then I picked up my phone, and dialed the number. This conversation needs to happen.

"Hello?" Patrick sounded a bit preoccupied..

"Oh hey! We need to talk." She said okay and then I heard some ruffling. 

"Alright, what is it?"

"Why would you tell Alex that?!" I couldn't raise my voice because then my Mom would come in.

"Tell her what?" He really sounded like he didn't know.

"You know what I'm talking about! You told her to choose between me or you. Guess what she chose you!!" I wanted to cry, but not now."

"I never told her that. Crystal, you're my best friend. Why would I do that when I know how you feel about her. I told her that I was uncomfortable with her dating both of us. I never gave her the choice."

"Oh, okay. I'll talk to you later then. Thank you for telling me Patrick." I hung up the phone, and of course guess who's calling? Alex.

"Oh hey Alex!" I don't know why I can't stay mad at her. Whenever I hear her voice or see her, all my troubles are gone. I'm pathetic.

After that conversation I decided to take a long nap that would last until tomorrow. Which worked.

When I arrived Alex and I started walking when she stopped me and then pulled me into the side. 

"What's up?" She pulled my sleeve up and  gasped. It looked more horrible than it ever has!

"Why?" She looked up at my face with tears in her eyes.

"Were you listening to us in the bathroom?!" She nodded her head. 

"Then you know why." I felt a tear slide down my cheek.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you."

"Yeah you did! Patrick didn't even make you choose, you lied to me, and on top of that you broke my heart!" I yelled the last part. Now, I was full on crying. I never cried in public before. "But it's okay. I forgive you I can hold it all in, for you." I smiled and walked away.

"Hey, are you okay?" This random girl walked up to me.

"I'm sorry, do I know you?" 

"Yeah, my name is Kayla. I am one of Alex's friends, I just saw what happened, and I wanted to see if you were okay." She smiled at me, and I smiled back.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thank you for asking." She took out a piece of paper and wrote down her number. 

"Well if you're still okay later, just call me." She smiled and walked away. Wow, what a girl. I smiled like an idiot and walked off to class.
