I rose forth from my meager living spaces, eager with anticipation for the following events. The enemy army would be arriving shortly after my ceremony had ended. I reflected upon my actions and ideas that had seemed to almost corrupt me.
I felt stronger now- more liberated from the bonds and chains that held me down so much. Our emotions were suppressed as Gands. Ambition and pride, those were looked down upon greatly and went against many moral codes in our society but I had thrown those away for power. Raw power is what I sought.
I wore the traditional robes of a Gand Findsman and walked towards the center of the town. The buildings were more or les constructed in a hive fashion with the strongest part in the center of the town. Buildings sprawled along next to each other, above and below, underground and way into the air to form a large dome. All of this was contained within the gargantuan walls that enshrouded our city in a constant shadow of darkness keeping the whole place at a nice cool temperature and warding off the mists for maximum visibility within the settlemnt.
As I proceeded to the center of the town, traversing countless staircases up and down, left to right, and following curvy or hilly roads, I felt a tugging at the back of my mind. "Do what must be done," her voice rang inside my head.
She explained her origin, on a sprawling world glittering with metals and the only ground being made of skyscrapers while the bottomfeeders of society dwelled closer to the ground where all of the great industrials facilities seemed to rest pumping up countless pounds of pollution. She talked about the speeding, glinting vehicles that flew through the air at exponential speeds. She said it was named Coruscant.
In addition to all of this, she explained everything about her species. Naming herself and her brethren 'humans' and that she was once part of an order of like-powered peoples that she said was named the 'Jedi Order' led by a council similiar to the ones on Gand.
What I had now wielded was coined a name 'Protosaber' and the two that I had chosen to wield used to belong to her apprentices that had followed her in exile from Coruscant. She explained that one day, her and some allies had been exiled wished to formulate a new energy saber, one without the power pak and limited functionality.
My purpose to her was to obtain one of my species for further research and in exchange she offered to show me the rest of the galaxy and tremendously hone and increase my power. She said she was in tone with one of the two sides of the thing known as the 'Force.' She claimed it was what aided the findsmen in their hunts and trials and when she explained it, it seemed very similiar to that of the potent power of the mists. She also praised me for being so intune with it and being able to usually conduct the hunting ritual so quickly.
I mulled over this information quietly to myself as I almost approached the ritual circles that was surrounded by many tiers of seats for most of Gand society to see. "Do what must be done," her voice came again. I trembled as I envisioned completing the deeds that she had ordered me to do. It was me or her, I felt that and realized that she had used my ambition, and my power to her advantage.
She never directly wanted to interfere with my planet's affairs, rather she wanted to manipulate it. I was a tool she had successfully claimed with little to no effort. I was merely a prize to her, one for study. I wished for the power she had, the power she offered.
I would do this one step at a time, and please her.
I took my place amongst the Elders as they began the long mystical ceremony of crowning me a janwuine-jika. Mists swirled up and over the walls into the city, the wispy tendrils extending their ligiments towards us and they reflected a great many lights. They swirled about in elaborate patterns then surrounded myself and the Elders in a great mist.
