Alex's P.O.V My mom finally gets home from her late shift at the hospital and I surprised her that I'm here.
She was super excited but she doesn't know the real reason I'm here yet though. I'm nervous to tell her but I need to. My mind keeps me awake all night but I finally go to sleep at 3:00 AM.
I wake up 5:55 AM to wake up before Liya. It's almost 6:00 so I start heading to her room and once it hits the time I go on top of Liya's bed. I start jumping up and down.
"Wake up Liyaaa!!" I say jumping on her bed.
"Uhhh stop Alex" Liya says groaning.
I get off her bed and I head back to my room and take a shower.
Liya's P.O.V I get out of bed and I look at the time. I go to my closet and find something to wear. I finally decided to wear this:

I lay my outfit on my bed and I go take a shower. I play my playlist that consist of Kid Cudi, Lupe Fiasco, Kendrick Lamar, Imagine Dragons, and others.
I get out the shower (connected to my room) and I change into my clothes. I see the time and it is 6:30 and I leave at 7:00.
I walk down the hallway and I pass my brother's room.
"Morning Liya" Alex says.
"Morning Alex" I say continuing to go downstairs.
I walk into the kitchen and see my mom. She has made pancakes and bacon.
"Hey mom" I say.
"Hey sweetie" she says smiling.
She hands me my plate of food.
"Thanks" I say grinning.
I begin to eat and it is delicious.
I hear a ding and I check my phone. I see I have a text from Alaya so I click on it.

Alaya: Hey I can't pick you up today I woke up late
Liya: It's fine

"Alaya can't pick me up today mom" I say.
"Do you want me or Alexander to drive you" she says.
