Toffee POV

It seems as if years passed by as I laid week, hungry and thirsty, the cold stone floor giving me some comfort through all the pain. The chains were beginning to cut into my skin, and the rope caused a few burns. I was helpless.

There was a clicking sound from the end of the cabin's enterance, and the same man as before walked in with a smirk on his face. "God, the view of you is amazing. All those cut and bruises, your trembling-" He raised my bead and rubbed his thumb on my lips. "Just makes me go wild." I slowly pushed him away. "Please, stop it." He howled with laughter. "Please stop. This is your Hell. The pain will never stop." I was agitated by what he said and shouted, "What did I do that makes me deserve this?! What did I ever do to you or River, or any of you?!" He had no expression on his face and replied, "Your existence." He then left, closing and locking the door. My throat was itchy and in pain from screaming. I was cold due to the fact I was only in my undergarments. I crawled into a ball and closed my eyes. If I could just go back to the times when my mother was alive...

Rasticore POV

We stopped driving in the evening and settled for the night, parking at the edge of the road. I was too busy with worrying about Toffee until I realized River holding my phone. "What are you doing?!" "A text came to you. You weren't listening to me." I sighed and took my phone to check the text. I gasped and dropped my phone, covering my mouth. I didn't stop River from looking. It was a photo of Toffee bruised and cut, his back was bleeding and his neck was purple. "Oh, my God..." I growled. "This is your fault. If you weren't against Toffee this wouldn't have happened!" "Why are you bringing this with me?" "Because it was you who tortured him! It was you who had these men to whip him!" "I couldn't do anything about it!" "What do you mean you couldn't do anything about it?! You could've just acted like an ordinary teen! You could of acted like a football player!" River looked down in shame as I turned on the car and started driving, faster than before. "When I find them I'm going to make sure they die." The phot never left my head. He looked helpless, injured, and tired. He almost looked as he was ready to give up. I drove even faster as we twisted and turned in the night, and it was simple since there was nobody on the streets to block my way. Why did I have to call the police? Why didn't I just listen? I sighed and ignored my thoughts, putting my mind and eyes onto the road. Just a few more miles from him, just a few more hours, it's not that far. That is when I realize, I have no plan. And that is when the sound of sirens flare up into the sky, a car by the color white and blue, is following me. Shit. The police. But, there was someone else there. My dad. "God Dammit." I stopped the car and waited. My father knocked on the glass politely with an officer behind him. I opened my window uninterested. "Rasticore." "Dad. You followed me?" He glared. "Yes. I would not leave you into danger or risk of getting killed!" "Well, what was there to do?" River butt in. "You could've brought the police-" "Shut up," we both said to him. He backed away and stayed silent. My dad sighed. "you've driven for two days, at the most, and you decide to ride during the night as well? Imagine fighting off how many there are, probably with weapons, when your in this condition." I thought it over. He was right. I sighed and cupped my face into my hands. Toffee's gone to God knows where, there are men that could have killed him for no fucking reason, and here I am, getting nowhere, wasting precious seconds on something irrelevant. "Then hurry up dad! I haven't got all the time in the world to save him!" There were tears in my eyes as I showed him and the officers the photo of him. He gasped and turns to the officers, giving them nods. "Son, go back home." "W-what? No!" "Yes! Now!" He looked panicked. "Dad, what's going on?" "Nothing, go home immediately, I'm using your car." "What about River." "I'm keeping him with me. Get out!" I didn't need to be told again. I immediately jumped out and watched as my father motioned a few to take me home as the rest went with him. But I had to see him. But it was too late. They were gone. "Dad, please come home safe."
