"Are you okay?" a voice interrupted and pulled me from the chaos that reigned in my mind.

I looked up to see Liam looking at me awkwardly. I nodded, in a daze. I can't believe it. Scott and Lydia were taken away. I hoped that me and Lydia could be great friends. And Scott. Scott. I called out to him in my mind. I felt as if my heart was shattered into a million pieces. Scott angry and hurt because of I was not as bad as this. Scott was gone. How could I let this happen? I was a shapeshifter and I didn't put it to good use.

"This is all my fault," a tear trickled down my cheek, "I wasn't good or strong enough to stop it from happening. Lydia was with me and now she's gone. And if Scott didn't here Stiles and I arguing , we would have stuck together and I could have helped him."

I threw my fists onto the ground and pain sprung from my knuckles. I held my hands tightly until my knuckles turned white. A shudder passed over me and I gave a quiet sob, putting my head in my hands. I felt Liam sit down next to me as he pulled me into a quiet hug. As weird as it was, it was what I needed.

"You know, we can actually get them back," Liam suggested.

I uncurled my fists and rubbed my eyes that were now certainly red and puffy, "What are you talking about? We can?"

"It happened before. Peter Hale and Stiles were taken. We need to do research on it. The school library is good. We need to find a book on myths. Gather up the rest. We're going to get them back."

Books lined the shelves of the library. The memory of the Beast here crawled up my spine and I forced down a shudder. I remembered Scott saving me. Guilt washed over me. He could save me from something as dangerous as the Beast and I couldn't even save him. Me, Liam, Kira, Malia, and Stiles stood around the library table. Derek and the others went somewhere else to find for more information.

Malia opened a thick book and placed it on the table. A terrifying picture of the Ghost Riders colored one of the yellow pages. All was silent as the book was read. No one else was in the library and it wasn't a school day. The once-shattered window was now in one piece and new.

Thunder rumbled outside as the sky turned grey. The bright afternoon light was being replaced with the dark of a storm. I walked away from the table and walked up to the second floor of the library. It darkened even more and rain started to pour in heavy sheets outside. Lightning struck and my breath caught in my throat. Standing in front of me was one of them. A Ghost Rider.

I growled, "Come and get me."

the green emotionless face cocked its head to the side and pulled out a whip. I prepared myself as the whip crackled. No point waiting for the others to come and help. This was my mission, my goal. I had to do this.

The whip struck.

I opened my eyes and looked around. Where am I? Grey walls. Soft glowing lights. Benches sat in rows. It resembled a... train station. A board hung by the wall and on it was a list of places. A name caught my eye. Beacon Hills. There was no time for departure and the details were blank. What scared me the most, were the people. The blank faces. They were waiting for something. Was there really a train coming? Why wasn't it departing for Beacon Hills?

Crossing to the ticket booth at one corner, I tapped on the window. The man inside too, was staring blankly. Confusion swept over me. Then came realisation. Scott and Lydia. I raced around the station, looking from bench to bench, person to person, face to face.

I stopped as I spotted them. Sitting down beside each other, were Scott and Lydia. Relief. I shook them and they shot up, as if they've been woken up. They blinked and looked around.

"Patty? What are you doing here? Where am I? The last thing I remembered..." Light sparked in his eyes and he bolted upright, "The Ghost Riders!"

"Yeah, where are we?"

"The station. I thought it was gone," Lydia answered.

Wind approached and swirled around my feet. Alarmed, I looked at both of them and they looked back with wide eyes. They were coming back. Panic rose up my chest and I found it hard to breathe.

I glanced around, "How do we escape?"

"Riding on the horse will fry you like an egg before you can even make it past the portal," Lydia said frustratedly, "The only way is to break the station again... and I know how to."

Lydia shot towards one of the locked rooms. She hit her shoulder on the door and I flinched a bit. The door finally gave way and all of you ran inside the room. A console panel sat in the middle of the room and a man was stuck to it by tubes into his body and I forced down a gag. Lydia and Scott nodded at each other wordlessly and stood on both sides of the man. I could hear the sounds of the horses.

The sound of hooves on the floor echoed through as the Ghost Riders stepped into the room. There were only two of them. For now. It took out a pistol and aimed it at Scott. I dived towards it and knocked the gun from its hand and the Rider fell off the horse.

Lydia pulled a tube and he did the same. Sparks flew and cables snapped. Bright light seized the room and covered everything. The last thing I remembered was Scott and Lydia running towards me, screaming and telling me to duck for cover.
