The day I saw you

I remember that day very vividly,

I was the newbie,

Looking forward to being with new friends,

To create long lasting relationships.

You were not the first one that I met,

I met someone who now is always there for me,

She would be my best friend,

She was the first to say hi.

Then classes started,

You were with your friends,

The noisemakers but funny guys,

The ones that will be your closest.

I stood up to introduce myself,

Then I saw you,

The little nerdy kid,

With your cute button nose.

I remember the first time I fell for you, literally,

We were in science,

You said something to make everyone laugh,

You caught my eye and the zap I felt made me realize.

I took my time, 

After a while I knew you were the one,

The one who would make me laugh all my life,

The one that I will cherish.

I loved you,

I love you,

And I will always love you.
