We left my room as we headed to the skating zone.
Sunday afternoons were the best days of the week.
The days I could freely hang around with my girlfriend as I waited to start the normally busy week on Monday.
Ebby loved skating so much, she taught me how to skate too and I almost became a pro'.
We sat around and watched small kids skate, it was all fun.
After skating we would always go to the ice cream base for some ice cream then take some walks late in the evening as we end the Sunday.
I branded Sunday my colorful and bright day, right from the morning sermon to the afternoon in Ebby's company.
It's 7 pm and I'm back in my room, I go for a shower as usual then I take some rest as I wait to go get my supper.
Sunday's food is always plain, rice, cabbage, and a banana.
I don't like bananas, I feel like I'm full too, I don't want the tasteless cabbage and rice. I decide not to go for supper
Ebby takes me for pizza before we go for ice cream. I'm loaded. How lucky IAM!!!
I throw myself on my bed, some blue light blinks on my fon. It must be Ebby.
Ebby's message.
"Hello, gal...."
" Hi dear", I reply to her text.
"Hope you got back to your room safe," Ebby's text reads, her messages always make me glow in happiness and sensual excitement.
"Sure dear, hope you too got home safe, just lying on my bed, feeling tired I think I'm sleeping so soon"
"Haha, I know there's nothing u enjoy more.
Well take some rest beauty, tomorrow is Monday!
Goodnight!"
"Goodnight too dearie", my message is delivered.
I make sure my door is shut, put off the lights, and get back to my bed.
Something rings on my mind.
I'm supposed to relocate to my brother's house. It's quite a difficult decision but I have to do it for them. Family always comes first. Our mother brought us up to know this plus they want me to.
I had tried without success to convince them that the hostels were closer and conveniently located but nobody listened and my reasons were declared null and void. Maybe I would launch an appeal in the later years for now my fate is sealed!
