Megan's POV cont....
At the counter, Joey pays for all the shopping we've done. This Vought me off guard but well...
We drop my shopping to my place as we head to Joey's place. She insisted her mom brought her food from home and all she wanted was to make me some traditional food. I can't doubt it will be a delicious delicacy.
So Joey had applied for some internship and luckily she's gotten a chance with one of the best companies in the City, I'm so happy for her. She's yet to report.
I have as well done several applications, I trust God shall open a way however much I'm putting some more effort in my business.
"Hey Megan", Joey calls from the kitchen.
Laughing...I head to the kitchen ...
She's looking at me with a smiling face, I wonder what she wants to tell me this time round..
"Look outside", she says as she grins.
I reads her not loudly and Her writings goes " Today, marks that day, I saw you for the very first time, I made a promise to myself that if at all I'll get to have you in my life, I'll always celebrate this day! Megan, I love you! Is a word I don't use unless it brings sparks into my life, unless its worth spelling the three word statement. Unless, the person I'm saying the words to deserves the energy it comes with.
Allow me tell you "I LOVE YOU!" Today! I hope my words makes you feel something that is unexplainable.
I'm left speechless, she looks at me with an I love you face as I quickly embrace her.
"What a beautiful piece, thank you" I appreciate you, I appreciate your kindness, I appreciate your love for me and I love you right back Joey.

Out of the blues "It girl" by Morello twins plays and immediately rose flowers falls on us.
Joey immediately plants a kiss on my lips and I sweetly submits to her kiss.
Voices on the background" we'd love to see you two old and drunk in love"
"What did you do Joey?" With mixed emotions I asked.
"I did nothing baby, I totally did nothing," she responds. "Please, look at me" she adds.
"I love you Megan, such a strong word to use but if I don't confess it that I do love you and you make me happy, I will have lied to myself" she gently and chattily said that to me.
"What more can I tell you Joey?" You have said and done all that my heart speaks. I love you as well painfully...
