Looking at her intently Frediano didn't really know what to say her response it was rather unorthodox like she somehow knew about the mafia business already.
"Only if I was, just purely construction business." he chuckles
Emerald right after laughs and says "Yeah like your the don from The Godfather part one."
"Right." Frediano said he needed to lie to Emerald of course he meant what he said but still he was skeptical of her but deep down he wasn't worried about her. He was just scared that Emerald would never talk to him again Frediano thought having little regret saying that to her in the first place.
"When is dessert coming out?" Emerald asked Frediano Emerald was just as skeptical as Frediano was neither showed she had a millions of questions in her mind like Was he serious?, and if it was true was would he tell on the first date and most importantly What the Fuck?!? But out of all the possibilities and deep down inside she felt safe with him like if something bad had happened God forbid he would protect her to his last breath.
It should be coming out in any minute and speaking of The Godfather how long did you like gangster movies." He asked Emerald
"Oh since I was 13 years old my father and I watched them together every gangster movie out we watched."
"What's your favorite?" Frediano questioned
"Goodfellas, but honestly I don't understand how someone one can live that type of life."
"What do you mean?"
"What I mean is that it is a super dangerous life and there are only two ways to be at in that lifestyle Jail or death."
"But that just in the movies, purely fictional." Frediano said
"Most but Goodfellas wasn't and look how all of them ended up." Emerald said back
Before he could speak the chef quickly brought dessert then left It was a decent size lava cake but only on one plate shared for two with two spoons on the each side of the plate
"I guess we get to share." Emerald said then picking up her spoon to take a bite she picked at the lava cake.Almost immediately it Oozed chocolate out then taking a bite Emerald said mmmmmmmm in the most sweetest and cutest way then said this heaven and finally smiled at Frediano.
Frediano laughed noticing that her teeth had chocolate on the them.
"You have chocolate on your teeth my love." Frediano said softly to her
Embarrassed Emerald quickly took a sip of water to wash away the chocolate then taking another bite bite of it.
Why are you not taking a bite Emerald asked
"Because I'm just admiring your beauty while you eat."
"Really no one said that to me before." Emerald said shyly
"First time for everything isn't."
"Yes it is."

After talking for what seemed like hours about another each others lives specifically talking about their childhood, how their parents were and what they wanted in the future.
Looking at his watch it was midnight
"Well it's exactly midnight I should be taking you home now" said Frediano
"Oh yes of course." Emerald said back
"Well the car is waiting outside for us."
Getting up from his seat then pulling out Emerald's chair.
After they both exit the restaurant then into what seemed like a very expensive Lamborghini the color was a bright red.
Opening the door for her Emerald Gently gets in amazed how nice this car looked then Frediano gets in and drives off but not fast as she thought it would have been she guess he was trying to be safe with her
"Very nice car." Emerald said
"Thanks I just bought it it's a little present for myself." Frediano said right after
"Good for you, everyone needs to pleasure themselves once in a while but I bet you do so all the time." she said
"No not all the time I mainly give some of my money to my family and my business and In that order my really isn't everything to me." Frediano spat
"I never thought it was I just though that you are really successful in your business and ....
"I alright Emerald I'm just messing with you." Frediano said
Then by the time Emerald wanted to respond they were in front her hotel
Getting out the car Frediano opened up the door for her then she had gotten out
"Tonight was really nice." Frediano said first
"Yes it definitely was Emerald." said smiling
"So that means that there is a second date coming?" he said
"Hmm I don't know, is that what you are asking me? Emerald questioned
"Yes, Emerald Jackson will you go on a second date with me?
"Of course I will Frediano Beza."
Well then you have yourself a goodnight.
"Ok til next time." Emerald said but then without thinking she kissed him on the cheek then walked fasted inside to her hotel room.
Frediano looking at her as she walked away he quietly said Yes then went into his car and drove off.
