Bria's POV
"His brother killed my father"
"Who is his brother?" I asked
"His brother's name was Alex"
" I have to go meet him now"
"Okay, be safe baby I love you" I said before giving him a long kiss
"I love you too babe, I'll be back early and I'll pick you up for dinner tonight okay?" He said
It's been a while since James and I have had our own private time to ourselves seeing that we have a child now and James works twice as hard as he use to, but not tonight. Tonight is our night.
James' POV
After meeting with Dommel I'm pretty sure he thinks I like him.
Tf I don't
If he thinks we're gonna be all buddy buddy, he has a next thing coming
"Boss, I found this under the table in the conference room" Jack said
Jack was one of my best workers since day one
"That son of a bitch" I smirked
He's not as stupid as I thought
"What happened?" Akeem asked
"He recorded the entire meeting" I replied showing him the recorder in my hands
"So why would he leave without it?"
"Maybe that dick didn't even know he left it" Jack said
"Or maybe he knows I'm onto him and he's sending me a message" I replied
"That his feelings are mutual to mine" I added
"Well underestimating him was clearly a mistake" Akeem said
"Clearly so" I thought to myself
Dommel's POV
"You did what!!?"
"I'm sorry Master, I had to go pick up my daughter from the hospital" Gavin said to me
I let my gang members call me master, I am their leader after all
"Do you always have to be at that stupid hospital?"
"My daughter has a serious heart condition, you know that master" he said to me
"I don't give one shit what your daughter has, you should've waited 10 minutes after the meeting was over and then you would pick up the recorder"
"You don't give a shit about my daughter?" Gavin said to me, his eyes turning dark and his breathing more rapidly
"Now you know I don't mean that, she's like my niece" I said
"I just got a little bit upset about the recording" I added
Gavin is a good worker for me, and all of my members fear me but everyone knows not to talk badly about Gavin's daughter, I know how he can get so I just changed the subject
"Remember you should go with Ben and pick up that shipment coming in today" I said
"Yes Master"
"And don't mess that up" I shouted
