*Few months later*
*Dream state*

I'm standing in the middle of a field of flowers. Then I see something run past in the bushes. I go over to see what it is but nothing's there. I look around suspiciously but all I see are the flowers. I run to the top of a nearby hill but I see the same thing that's behind me.

I run down and through the field but ended up in the same place

I run down and through the field but ended up in the same place. I drop to my knees and finally noticed the dress I'm wearing.

Except I'm bare foot and my hair is laying on my shoulders

Except I'm bare foot and my hair is laying on my shoulders. I hear someone start to whisper but I can't hear them very well. I listen close and it's a woman's voice but not just any woman. It was my mother's voice. She was calling my name, I followed her voice into the forest. It got louder and louder the deeper I trecked. Then I came upon a beach, and there she sat in the sand.

Tears spring into my eyes and she turns and smiles at me

Tears spring into my eyes and she turns and smiles at me. I run over and hug her tightly. She chuckles softly and pets my hair. "I've missed you so much, my little gem. You've grown up so well and are so beautiful. Just like I thought you would." She says as she caresses my cheek lovingly.

I smile and take her hand, " Mother, how are you here?"

"Just because I'm dead doesn't mean I'm gone, sweetie. I've been watching you all your life."

"Then why are you in my dreams?"

"I came to tell you that you're in danger. You have been to Earth before, Sapphire. And you've made enemies while you were here. They found out you're alive and want to take you back, for good. I don't want that to happen."

"What? That's impossible."

"No it's not. Your father found you beaten and close to death on Earth. He took you home and had you healed. But you were having a terrible state of depression and decided it would be best to wipe your memory of Earth and every thing that happened there."

"He lied to me. I went through all of that pain because of him and he promised that it was for the best. But it was only so I wouldn't find out the truth."

"I'm so sorry, honey. I tried to tell you sooner but it takes a lot to enter someone's dreams especially when they are as strong as you."

"It's not your fault, mom. I know you would have protected me if you were alive. I just ..... I thought that he trusted me."

"And I like this Bucky person you like. He seems nice and he's cute."

She nuges me jokingly and I giggle. I blush lightly and sit in the sand next to her. She holds me to her side and we watch the horizon as the waves lick at the sandy shore. Then everything starts to blurr and she whispers one last thing as it all fades away.

"I love you, Sapphire. Never forget that and remember, they're coming and they will stop at nothing to have you. Goodbye, I love you, my little gem."
