Story 10

I was heading towards the airport with my friends Zoe, Kate, Tayah, Reema, Niamh, Caitlin, Libby and Kayla. We had tickets to go to Asia.

'Are you guys as excited as I am?!' I asked, a huge smile plastered on my face.

'Hell yeah!' Zoe, Kayla and Caitlin cheered.

'Yeah.' The others said bluntly.

'Awe, come on guys.' I said.

We walked in and headed over to our plane. We got in and chose our seats. I was next to Zoe and Caitlin watching Jumanji, Kate, Tayah and Reema where telling jokes to each other and Libby, Kayla and Niamh were trying to sleep. The plane started moving and we were in the air in no time. Hours past and Caitlin, Zoe and I had watched five movies already. (Jumanji 1 & 2, Coco, Ferdinand and It). Kate, Tayah and Reema ran out of jokes so they started playing the Nintendo Switch. Libby, Kayla and Niamh were sleeping, though it was very noisy.

'How long does it take.' I groaned, sliding down my seat.

'Just a few more hours.' Caitlin replied, trying to pick another move.

'Fantastic Beast.' Zoe suggested.

'How about, Hurry Up and Get to Japan.' I complained.

We all sighed as Caitlin chose another movie.

'I'm being Blue Yoshi!' Kate said.

'Then I'm being White Yoshi!' Tayah said.

Yes, they're playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

'I'm Red Yoshi then!' Reema said.

And over with Libby, they're all quiet with a few murmured words thanks to sleep talk. I ended up falling asleep in the middle of Fantastic Beasts and had this really weird dream. Weirder than usual.

'Hello?' I called out.

No answer. Everything was white.

'Anyone there?'

Still nothing. Suddenly, everything turned to colour. It was like a giant rainbow field.

'Woah...' I murmured.

I walked around the rainbow field till I came across a pure black mountain. I climbed up and went inside a random cave. A light appeared in front of me, showing the inside covered in blue flames. I was walking on blue flames! I turned to go back, but the cave entrance had closed up. The light started to float down the cave, so I followed.

'Where the hell am I going?' I mumbled.

As I walked, a new light showed up at what seemed the be the end of the cave. I ran towards it and came out in a clearing. I looked around as I walked.

'Where the hell am I?' I wondered.

I walked around some more till everything went black. I stood still, not knowing what to do. Then, it started flashing white and black. I blocked my eyes from the light. The ground, or whatever I was standing on, disappeared. I was falling through the black and white background. I screamed, but, it was muffled out. I fell down further and further.

I woke up.

'Sarah! Finally, your awake. We're here.' Zoe said.

'O-oh. Thanks for waking me. That was a really weird dream.' I said.

'Huh?' She said.

'Come on, let's go!' Caitlin said, standing up.

We stood up and walked outside the plane.

'JAPAN!!!' I cheered.
