When you are heart broken, you feel like your nothing. You feel like you spent so much energy into someone just to get used. You feel like the promises were lies. You feel like it's all your fault. When you are heart broken you blame yourself for someone else's mistakes.
I wrote some poems for heartbreak because yeah ya girl is broken.

The feeling of love starts out so great,
But its the feeling that comes after that everyone hates.
You feel love pick you up of the ground,
But it is the same love that slams you right back down

I know we both thought being in love we were flying
But now I'm on my knees without you, I'm dying
I was your toy, but you were my universe
I did everything for you, i always put you first
don't fall in love they always say
I didn't think it was a drug until I got addicted anyway
sleepless nights alone with hurt
You chewed on my heart then spit the remaining pieces onto the dirt
I gave all of myself, for so little of you
now that You're gone, I don't know who to give myself to
I find myself torn apart by falling in love with you
but hint at the falling part because that's exactly what I do
