As I'm standing here with you infront of me
I mentally thank the gods and whatever that let to this moment

We were partnered together for
an English assignment
It required us to write about our passion(s)
We were expected to help each other out with the grammer and structure of the essay

So, here we are
You're sitting infront of me
And you're smiling
We aren't familiar with each other but you're smiling at me
I gulp and managed to say,"Hi. I'm Cai Xukun."
You laugh," I know? We've been classmates for nearly 3 months Xukun."
As soon as you said my name, I couldn't help but grin
You noticed and let out a chuckle
"You should smile more often."
"You should too" the words came out of my mouth before I could even stop myself
"I thought I smiled quite often?" You said as you chuckled again
I scratched my head and I couldn't think of a reply so I just let out an awkward laugh

Anytime you're ready, swallow me up ground.

"Hm so what's you do you like?"
I look up at you trying to comprehend what you just said
"I mean what's your passion?"
Oh you meant the project
"I like dancing and singing but I'm not good so.. yeah." I answered and found you with surprised
"I never knew you danced and sang? If you don't mind sing a song for me? Not right now but whenever you're ready."
"I uh sure. And what about you? Your passion?" I was secretly glad you asked me to sing for you
I bit my lower lip casually to stop myself from smiling
"Oh I like to play the piano but I only play it at home."
I never knew you played the piano
I guess you weren't confident or you just wanted to keep it to yourself
Like a safe haven
"Maybe I could listen to you play it, sometime?"
You nodded,"sure xukun"

Never would I have thought we would be were we are right now. Even if it's just being partner for a project, I'm glad.

Since I suck at writing (pardon my language) it'll probably take a while for romance between xukun and our oc to bloom. So yeah *sweats nervously* jamkkaman ~ *tries to act cute, fails, digs a hole and buries myself*
