Letters (Tsukishima Kei X Yamaguchi Tadashi)

Chapter 7: Jealousy

Tsukishima feels terrible. He mutters a soft "I'm home" and clambers up the stairs. He tosses his bag aside and flops on his bed. He does not understand why on earth he feels so uncomfortable, so...hurt inside. He grips his chest. Now that Yamaguchi has a girlfriend, he probably would not spend as much time with him as they used to. The thought of it made Tsukishima feel...lonely. He stares at the ceiling. "Fuck." He curses and continues to throw a string of insults to no one in particular.

"Sounds like someone is in a bad mood." Tsukishima hears footsteps. "Aniki, leave me alone." Tsukishima hugs his pillow and turns away from the looming figure. "Now come on Kei. Just tell me what happened. Maybe you will feel better." Tsukishima turns over and glares at his brother Akiteru. "Which word of leave me alone do you not understand?" Akiteru feels shivers down his spine and he looks into his brother's pale orange eyes, now filled with malice. "Are you sure you are ok? If you want to talk just come find me." Akiteru slowly backs away from Tsukishima, glancing worriedly at his little brother. "Remember, come find me if you want to talk." Akiteru gives up with a sigh and closes the door. "Says the person who was crying on his knees when he was in highschool." Tsukishima rolls his eyes.

He lies back down on his bed. Maybe he should not have ignored Yamaguchi when he came back from lunch break. He feels his phone buzz. He picks it up, a message from his friend. "I'm sorry for abandoning you during lunchbreak Tsukki, forgive me? :)" Tsukishima's fingers were moving before he knew it. The screen displayed "Apology accepted." He thinks for a while and adds "Congrats on your girlfriend." He stones for seconds and finally decides on deleting the congratulations part. He presses send.
