Chapter 5:
Dixie diva
We sat down at the restaurant where as I noticed there was a lot of celebrity's there and other high class people. We were greeted by a waiter which obviously Dylan knew I could tell because he gave him a bro hug if that's what you want to call it. The waiter then turned back into an actual waiter "hello, Dylan, Paulina" he said bowing to us. I gave him a friendly smile
"Paulina, this is Derek" my brother introduced to me. He held out his hand for me to shake and did so. He was a fairly tall man handsome young man I have to give him props, if I wasn't a idiot I would've known this would be his uncle.
"What would you like to start off as?" Derek asked me. I've never been here before I had no idea what they would serve but I had a feeling it was going to be expensive. I looked at Dylan
"What do you usually get?" I asked I felt a nervous wave roll over me. Dylan looked at Derek
"The usual for both of us please" he smiled. Derek nodded writing it down and walking away.
"So, Paulina" Dylan flashed a big smile at me. "you look lovely". I blushed the Dylan For called me 'lovely' I got butterflies.
"Thank you" I managed to say over the butterflies. "Your mom actually gave it to me" I smiled back crossing my legs like a lady. I felt high class which now I really was being half of a now rich family. Just as he was about to respond he got a call "I'm sorry, I've got to take this" he apologized as I accepted he answered the call.
"Dixie!" He answered. She was yelling over the phone I could hear her across the table.
"Dylan!!! Who's Paulina?!?" She yelled through the phone. He took the phone farther away from his ear and began to talk.
"Dixie, that's my sister" he chuckled Derek came back with sparkling waters and walked away quickly I didn't get to thank him.
"She doesn't look like your sister! You don't have a sister! Where are you!?! Is she your girlfriend!?! Why are you with her!?!" She screamed.
"Dixie, please she's my new sister, I'm having dinner with her, she's not my girlfriend she's my sister!" He said a bit louder. "I've gotta go were in a restraunt" with that he ended the call. "Sorry" he half smiled. I laughed a bit.
"Who was that?" I laughed again taking a sip of my water.
"That's my friend from back home." He laughed.
"It sounds like she's your girlfriend" I laughed jokingly.
"She's not she's just like a sister...like you" he added laughing "she's real protective" he picked up his water taking a drink.
