Texting All Night

You stayed in bed the rest of the day, waiting for Taehyung to text you.

But he didn't.

Not even once. You wanted to text him first, but since he said he'll text you, you didn't want to look desperate.

Maybe he is busy? Or maybe he forgot? What if he doesn't really care.

You tried to push the negative thoughts away and decided to sleep, since the clock was already 22 pm and your body was in pain.

You could feel yourself fall into a deep sleep, but it didn't last long when you heard a message tone come from your phone.

You: "Finally, he texts me. I better hope he has a good reason for not texting me earlier."

His message: Hey cutie. ;) Are you sleeping?

Cutie? Why isn't he asking how I feel? I'll tease him a little then

Your message: Hello ^^ Nope, I'm not sleeping yet. My body is still hurting btw, but I'm fine. Thanks for asking ;)

His message: What are you talking about? What happened Y/N?

Your message: You know what happened Taehyung, stop joking around. Why didn't you text me earlier?

His message: Y/N... Check who you are texting with...

Huh?

Your message: Oh, I'm so sorry Jimin. I am really tired plus I was expecting a text from Taehyung, so I really thought it was him fooling around.

Jimin's message: Ha-ha it's alright Y/N, don't worry. But tell me, why does your body hurt. Did something happen between you and Taehyung?

Your message: Don't you know about this? You were decorating with Taehyung, so I thought you'd know...?

Jimin's message: Decorating with Taehyung? Y/N, I have been at home all day. And I haven't talked to Taehyung today.

Your message: Hmm, that's really weird. He was planning a lunch date for the two of us, so Namjoon, Seokjin, Hoseok, Yoongi and Jungkook came over to my house earlier and told me to follow them. Long story short. I took a shower and I slipped and fell down the stairs. When I woke up, Taehyung was sitting on a chair in my room and he was taking care of me.

Jimin's message: That's indeed really weird. I wonder why they didn't tell me about it. Wait, you passed out after falling down the stairs? Are you alright?

Your message: Yes, I'm alright. Don't worry. But I think I need to sleep now, my head hurts a little.

Jimin's message: Aww, I understand. I'll let you rest after I have asked you this.

Your message: What is it?

Jimin's message: Do you wanna hang out tomorrow? If you are not feeling OK I understand that, and I will let you rest.

Your message: I'd love to hang out. I'll just take some painkillers and I'll be fine. When do you wanna meet?

Jimin's message: Great! But I don't wanna make you feel worse, so I'll take care of you ;) Hmm, why don't we meet at lunch time. I'll come pick you up and we'll go and grab something to eat on a café?

Your message: That sounds great, but text me before you show up so I can be ready J

Jimin's message: Yes, I will. But now you need to rest. A princess needs her beauty sleep ;) Good night Y/N ~

Your message: Ha-ha, good night Jimin ^^

You were really tired, but you kept thinking about Taehyung. Why didn't he text you? One part of you said not to worry, but another part was kind of... hurt.

Yes, hurt. You liked Taehyung, and instead of talking to him you spent the evening talking to his best friend.

You liked Jimin too, but not the same way as Taehyung. Yes, Jimin is attractive and he is super kind and really sweet, but there is something about Taehyung's presence that drives you crazy, and it makes you blush.

His perfect deep voice that gives you shivers down your spine, his perfect light red lips that are so kissable. His beautiful dark brown eyes, that you could stare into for an eternity. His beautiful dark hair that is always so perfect. And his scent, his aura. He smells so incredibly good. When you close your eyes you can remember his scent and it makes your whole body heat up.
