When Lillian got to her room she shut the door and sat on her bed. But as soon as she opened her book, she fell asleep. She woke up in what she thought was her room. It still looked dark outside so she slowly opened her door and creeped out to the kitchen, hoping not to wake up her mom. As she started to walk back to her room, her mother stopped her halfway there. "Are you alright mother?" Asked Lillian. Her mother didn't reply, but just stood there looking emotionless at the ground. Lillian was about to ask her if she was ok again, but right as she opened her mouth her mother looked up at her. She looked at her mother in horror and screamed bloody murder. Her mother's face was all mangled, and it looked as if someone, or something, had burned half her face off. It looked like her face was melting too, and the longer Lillian looked at her face the more she wished it was a dream. "h...help...me." Her mother's voice sounded like someone had ripped out her vocal cords, all raspy and emotionless. Lillian just ran as if a demon was chasing her, and screamed as loud as she could. As she was running, she tripped over a rock and her mother had finally caught up to her. Then Lillian woke up.
