Lillian woke up covered in tears and sweat. When she realized it was just a bad nightmare, she got up and went to the kitchen. Her mother noticed her walk in and looked up at her, " oh! Lillian darling, are you ok? Were you crying?" Her mother brought her into right hug," I can't breath!" Lillian's mother lets go of her and apologizes. After breakfast Lillian explains why she was crying and what her nightmare was about, then her mother gave her another hug and said that it was just a dream and nothing more. So Lillian just spent the rest of the day re-reading all the books her grandmother had ever gotten her. After a while she got bored of reading all thoughts books so she went to see what her mom was doing. As soon as Lillian walked out her bedroom door, she heard her mother scream. Lillian ran into the kitchen and screamed bloody murder. Half of her mother's face was burned, and there was a fire in the frying pan that was almost touching the ceiling. Lillian ran to the into her room, grabbed her phone, and called an ambulance. Lillian later found out that her mother wasn't paying attention to the meal she was cooking, and when she went back to it, it had burst into flames all over her face. She just thought that it was the strangest thing, because her mother was a master chef. What could have made her so distracted that she couldn't pay attention to her cooking?
