The Lost Platoon

Ariella

Ariella Cross had been sent to the front lines to fight for the freedom of a small country that had no one to fight for them. She was tough as hell and always carried her military weapons in hand, ready to shoot any idiot who posed a threat to her or those she chose to defend.

Ariella was walking to her tent when she heard her commanding officer call out to her. "Corporal Cross, could I have a moment of your time please?"

"Yes sir, Ariella said approaching him and saluted.*

Sergeant Davis hated having to send his best person to the front lines when she would be a much greater asset, here at the base protecting the rest of the troops, or what little troops they had, but sometimes you don't get a choice.

"Corporal Cross, as much as it annoys the hell out of me to have to do this, I gotta send you to the front lines as there is trouble there and what men I have sent haven't returned and I fear they have been ambushed, or killed."

"Ariella smiled, Yes sir Sergeant Davis sir. She saluted him once more, but then groaned when he said something about taking Corporal Riley with her."

"Sergeant Davis sir might I ask a question?" Ariella said looking at him in shock.

" At ease corporal and yes you can, Davis replied.,"

" Now I have no real issues with Riley except he talks to damn much, so why in god's name do I have to take him with me? Ariella asked with a quizzical look on her face."

Riley walked in and smiled, " now why wouldn't you wanna fight at my side? I'm cute and can fight with the best of them."

"Because, Ariella said, you're to arrogant and cocky for my liking. Now that's not to say I don't like you, but you get on my damn nerves."

"Enough, Davis said, you will both go together and that's an order, now move out soldiers."

They both saluted him before replying, ,," Yes sir, and walked out of the tent."

Ariella went to her tent to gather her supplies when she saw four guys walk past her and look at her, nodding their heads in greeting save one who gave a cocky arrogant smirk."

Jonathon looked at Walker, " Don't even think about it Walker, now is not the time or place."

"What, I only gave her a smile great leader, and besides, I think she's into me.' Walker responded.

" Hayden and Keeler laughed, you wish asshole, they both responded and smiled before going to the caves below.,"

As the sunset, Ariella knew it was time to find these fuckers and kill them. She went to corporal Riley's tent and all but got knocked on her ass by a guy who's skin was extremely pale with dark black hair and hard but handsome features.

Hayden stood there eyeing the girl intensely and noticed she was eyeing him as well.

"What are you looking at sir and what is your name? Ariella asked with a slight frown."

"Well I was looking at someone I thought looked familiar, but I guess I was wrong, and the names Hayden."

"What's yours if you don't mind me asking, and what exactly are you looking at?" Hayden asked with a deep throaty voice.
