The Continued Hunt for Effects

Once the decisions for the next adventure in the Nexus were made, Madotsuki returned to her bed while the members of Death PACT all layed down the floor with the scattered pillows. Eventually, they reutrned to the Nexus, "Let's find the doors we've selected. Let's get on it." Pie said, she sounded somewhat excited, she went to a magenta door, and opened the door to check what's in there, "Whoa." Pie said with wonder, with a bunch of colors, surrounding yet another dark void. She walked into the graffiti-covered nothingness, everyone else were behind her in the Graffiti World. Death PACT and Madotsuki went west to find a little red bicycle, Madotsuki picked it up and began to ride around on it, she was having lots of fun riding on that bike to the point where Tree had scolded her for almost running into Black Hole and also for not looking at whatever is in front of her, but Madotsuki of course, ignored him. That is, until she ran into Pen and he fell over, "Aah!" Pen screamed as he fell down, Madotsuki realized and frantically apologized to Pen, "Oh my goodness, Pen! Oh god, I'm so sorry!" Madotsuki cried, but Pen got up and forgave her. Later, he managed to teach Madotsuki how to use the bike properly, like telling her when to stop and how to pay attention to her surroundings, the first things people who obtain bikes learn.  Later after some more learning, Madotsuki rode near a purple two-side door and went inside.

Suddenly, they find themselves in what appears to be a entrance to a subway or a department store. "I don't think she should use her bike on those escalators." Tree said, "Like they say, safety first.", Madotsuki stopped using it when she heard those words, Pillow told her that she is a good girl, this praise motivated Madotsuki even more, by happily telling the death preventing team to follow her down the purple escalators, thus forming a line, going down the purple "alive" stairs, they all now find themselves in a maze, a purple and black maze. It got very confusing after going at least going through three hallways. While travelling through those halls, Pen was noticing something strange... A tiny little girl in a white kimono with black, short hair covering both her eyes was wondering through the halls with them, Pen tried to go near this girl but she ran away from him when he finally got near her, "Dagnabbit!" Pen growled in fustration, not being able to know that odd child. Remote noticed this and asked him, "What's wrong?", Pen's reply was, "Ah, it's nothin'.", he sounded rather upset, but thankfully, he snapped out of it quickly and continued with the mall maze. They though that was no end to the maze until they saw what appears to be a doorless opening to somewhere. This room resembles a threapist's office, and said room has a strange person sitting on a sofa and a picture of a weird cyclops scuba diver. In response to finding a flute, Madotsuki picked it up, and thus, gaining the flute effect. Having a feeling like they've had accomplished what has been done in this place, Death PACT and their young ally returned to the Nexus. Unfortunately, no one was up to effect finding due to the maze in the previous place they've encountered a while ago. Instead, they chose to take a quick break in the real world and getting there was a snap as Madotsuki pinched her cheek once again.

Once they were in the real world, Madotsuki went to turn on her gaming console which connected to a rather small television, she played a strange but adorable game with a character called, "Nasu", hopping from platform to platform, it seemed extremely boring at first but it got awesome by the time Nasu went into the fourth world. While almost every member of Death PACT cheered for Madotsuki. Pillow on the other hand was more interested in the book collection Madotsuki had, picking a random book and read through said book she randomly chosen; only to get bored with it in a chapter of the story or two. However, one story got her attention, the book was called, "What are Dreams?", and was written by Doctor Ren Watanabe, a deceased yet beloved Neuroscientist, Pillow automatically grew interested in Ren's research stories and the guy himself like the history of his life and the motives of his studies of the brain. She turned to the first page and she was indeed right about growing interested in this collection of research notes and collected results with each study and experiment; Pillow's now on the third chapter, a page describing experiences of people being interviewed by him about lucid dreams. It also included some studies before and after interviewing those said people. Everything that was written in that four hundred and thirty-one year old book have made Pillow's curious mind go wild. This caught on with Remote and Liy, as Liy asked her eagerly, "What book is that you are reading?", Pillow gave the book to Liy and Remote and told them to read it for themselves. Page by page, Liy and Remote were intially confused about the book's author and his intentions, later realizing that he's a normal dude trying to do some research centering around the brain and it's connection to our dreams, that happened to be quite fitting because their current adventure centered around a dream hub. Realizing that this book had potiental, Pillow decided to keep the book as it could help out any future psychologists and neuroscientists.

Once Madotsuki finished the fifth world and saved her game's progress, everyone went to sleep for the third time. After this they were back in the Nexus, Madotsuki the chose the black, gothic door. The door swung open thanks to Madotsuki's hands. What lays beyond that door happened to be yet another blank void filled with more strange artwork, and there were numerous candles. Candles everywhere. Madotsuki took out her bike and rode after a tiny dwarf-like entity. She kept chasing it until she received an effect from it, she got the Midget effect. Feeling proud of herself, Madotsuki put her bike away and walked back to the direction where Death PACT was in. "Let's leave everyone, we're done here." Madotsuki told Death PACT with no second thoughts or hesitation. Thus, returning back into the Nexus.

Some time later, they have chosen both a green and a red door, curious to see what world the green door leads to. Opening the door slowly and carefully, there was a big pine forest. This forest was huge like if no one laid a finger on the nature around it. Death PACT and Madotsuki wandered through the forest until Madotsuki picked up a frog, it gave her the frog effect. Then, Madotsuki turned around and headed back to the door with the object team following right behind her.

After some exploration of the red door's world which consists of nothing but puddles; everyone made sure Remote doesn't kill herself by stepping or falling on a puddle. In the process, Madotsuki scooped up a small lonely umbrella with no one to own it; Madotsuki was ready to leave but Bottle stopped quickly and yelled, "Wait! There's a pink tunnel over in the distance, I wonder what sort of odd goodies it'll give to us!", that caught Madotsuki's attention and went towards Bottle, "Say what?" Madotsuki asked her quietly, Pie walked to Madotsuki, "She said that there's a tunnel we could visit. Maybe we can find an effect or two there. Let's find out once we get in." she explained without having Bottle repeat herself. 

Once they went into the pink tunnel, Tree pointed out something odd, the worlds do not connect with each other in any way whatsoever, but he also said that he believes his claim could be wrong. Now, there is a yet another forest, "Uhh... You're incorrect there, Tree." Black Hole stated,  Tree understood and shoke his head gracefully.  The team wandered around the woods, looking for anything that could be useful, meanwhile Bottle stopped to pick up a small, light blue flower for no reason in particular other than that it looked pretty. Crossing through the grassy road, they found a road and person laying there quietly, Pen got confused by this sight and went towards the person asking, "Are you okay sir?", not knowing the actual story behind this man, Madotsuki told him bluntly, "He's dead.", Pen turned his head, horrified about what he just heard, "H-He's dead?! I d-didn't know about! Rest In Peace dude.", Bottle stared at the flower, then walked to the man, dropping the small flower on him. Later, Madotsuki gained the Stop-Light Effect, and pinched her cheek; causing them to return to her room. 

Once she got out of her bed, she went to her desk and wrote a thing or two on her dream journal. Presumably, she is preparing for the next adventure...
