Andy let his head lean against Blossom's sleeping for. He could feel the pain of being hungry creep into his body. A shaft of light cut into the room.
"Wake up sleepyheads. It's decision time!" the kidnapper sang, banging on the bars. Andy grabbed his head, the banging making his headache worse.
"Oh good, you're up. So did you make your decision?" Jason asked, leaning towards the cage. Andy opened his mouth but clamped it shut. He shuddered, wrapping his arms around him.
"Well, Andy?" Jason pressed, arching an eyebrow. Andy shook his head, swallowing quickly.
"All right then. You just made your decision," Jason laughed evilly. He ripped open the door and dragged Blossom to her feet. She yelped with the pain. Jason unlocked her chains and yanked her outside the cage. Slamming the door shut, he pulled Blossom by her hair out the door to where the light shone. Blossom's sobs echoed through the hall one last time before the door finally clicked shut. Andy buried his head in his knees, letting a single tear drip from his eyes.
PATRICK AND THE BAND
Patrick paced back and forth in the living room. Pete was reading a magazine, but his eyes kept wandering back to the manilla folder on the desk. Joe tapped his foot as he sat on the soft brown couch.
"We have to do something, Trick," he said, standing up. Patrick stopped his pacing and picked uptake folder and pulled out the picture of Jason Watson. Crushing it in his hand, Patrick turned to Pete.
"How would you feel about tracking this guy down?" he asked him. Joe whooped behind him, slipping on a jacket. Pete pulled a hand through his blonde hair.
"I don't know Trick. Isn't it kinda dangerous?" he asked. Patrick shrugged, tugging on his fedora.
"All right, I'm in," Pete replied, throwing his magazine on the table. He pulled on a denim vest and followed the band out to Patrick's car.
